If my memory serves me right then, yes, that's Taylor's bird. -

Thank you Chris. OOB except for the FineMolds belts. Whenever you try one you'll like it. Great details and fit. Easy build also. 🙂 -

Hasegawa P-40E Robert L. Scott

Yes, I built their P-40B a while back. Not a bad kit. I did it as Taylor's a/c he flew at Pearl Harbor, a/c #155. -

Thanks! I'm happy you like them. -
Yes sports fans and athletic supporters. Another Hasegawa P-40 build is under way. The Hasegawa kits are nicely detailed and enjoyable to build. I just wish they would reissue the "K", "M", and "N" as those are hard to find and when you do find any the prices are pretty high. (Yes, I know, I have a "N" up for sale here but at least I'm not asking a arm and a leg for it. Just a arm maybe! LOL) At any rate, I intend for this build to be Robert L. Scott's "E". Not all that colorful but that's okay. It should make a good looking OOB model. Stay tuned.......

Tamiya F4U-1D finished
JohnB replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
Thank you Kevin. I decided it had set on my "to be completed" shelf long enough. 🙂 -
This one has been sitting 3/4 done for several months. I finally decided to finish it over the holiday since it was so far along. I had planned to use black and white checkerboard markings but wasn't able to come up with the needed decals. So I changed the markings.

Thanks Paul. I'm glad you like it. 🙂

Agreed! Thank you. 🙂

Thank you Kevin. It's nice to get a compliment! Thanks again. 🙂

All done with this one. Painted with Alclad Duraluminum, Tamiya yellow and red, and my own mix for interior green. Decals are from the Kagero Fighters Over Italy book. The black pinstriping is Microscale. It's a nice kit and easy to build. No after market parts were used. I hope you like it! 🙂

I guess there was a different Hazel as this is a 52nd FG a/c and not a recce a/c. 🙂

I think that's the way I'd go. 🙂

Should make a interesting model. Swordfish, TBF or FM-1 Wildcat would fill that bill. 🙂
-
Being Tamiya it's a very nice kit and should build up well. 🙂

I'm currently working on this build and am a little undecided as to which a/c it will be. Both are in the Kagero Topcolors book with decals. I like them both so we will see soon which one I decide on. 🙂

LOL Hubert. Thanks for the kind comments. I decided it had been on my shelf long enough (a number of years) and, since I'm not getting any younger, went on and "got with the program" 🙂. Had some ups and downs but I'm glad to have it done. Even with the crappy canopy (they give you 2 and both are SNAFU'd). 🙄
