I'll use some white putty and sand it out.

Thanks Kevin. It's here so it won't be long! 🙂

Cockpit assembly done. I used a Tamiya instrument panel instead of the kit one. Belts are FineMolds. I used Barracudacals for the cockpit details.

I ordered this kit a number of days ago and it's supposed to deliver this coming Monday. In the meantime, since I have several boxes of unused 1/32 P-51 parts, both Revell and Tamiya, and since I didn't have anything on the bench, I decided to see about getting a head start on the build using left over parts. I was able to get a LOT done and will be able to have a nice start when the kit shows up. I plan to do Hess's "Bout One" ROK D-15 using some Tamiya decals, a mix of Revell and Tamiya parts plus a resin replacement tail. And I still have a LOT of unused parts. 🙂

Coming along really well Gus. Those kits can be a real headache as I found out when I built the SB2C. 🙂

Thanks Dennis! I will save that link and have it available when I need one of those. Thanks again. John

I remember someone had a resin tail mod for the Revell 1/32 P-51D model which lacks the tail fillet. Can someone refresh my memory? Thanks!! John

Thank you Dennis. I've built the Infinity model too and it builds up really nice. 🙂

This is the Accurate Miniatures/ProModeler kit. Build OOB except for the decals which were from my stash. I think it goes well with my previous GSB build. I hope you like it.

Thank you Martin. 🙂

I get that "moving through network" a lot. Very irritating.

Most of that red will be covered by slats and flaps.

Thanks Kevin. Yep, there will be some color on this one! 🙂

This is the Accurate Miniatures/Monogram kit. I hadn't planned to post this build but decided, what the heck, go on and post it. As you can see it's well along and about ready for some paint. 🙂

Thank you Dennis. I'm pleased that you like the finished model. I intend to do a few more AFV's in future since I have several that have been in my stash for a while. 🙂

My sentiments also Paul. I too get those "nice clean build" comments sometimes LOL. I wonder what a "not so clean build" is? LOL I'm glad you like the results of my efforts! 🙂
