  1. Thanks! I removed most of the photos I had posted. It hardly seems worth the trouble to post since there appears to be little interest aside from a couple of you guys (which I very much appreciate).
  2. Thanks Keith. 🙂
  3. Calling this one done. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/20864-506th-fg-p-51-iwo-jima-completed/
  4. You are right Hubert. They are slightly thinner but they were all I had on hand so I decided to go on and use them. I figured someone might broach the subject. 🙄 They are 1/16" but a slightly wider stripe was what was really needed. I didn't have any and wasn't able to find some.
  5. Getting there. Still have the right side to do plus the uppers and lowers of the horizontal stabilizers. It's tedious but not as bad as I figured it would be (so far!).
  6. Little by little! 🙂
  7. Whatever snaps your gallouses........😄
  8. Trying out the red stripes. If I continue I feel it'll be very tedious!
  9. More progress! 🙂
  10. Good progress. (The canopy and gunsight assembly's are just set in place right now.) 🙂
  11. Thanks Kevin! 🙂
  12. Cockpit nearly completed.
  13. This will be a nice one for sure Paul. I look forward to following along. 🙂
  14. Here is Bardahl Special with variations in markings over the racing years.
  15. Completed. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/20841-revell-bardahl-special-done/
  16. This was the first of 4 Bardahl Special P-51's back in the 60's/70's. Since I had already modeled the others I decide to complete the line with this one. Painted with Tamiya Gloss White. Decals are from Drawdecals. 🙂
  17. Painting completed except for a few little things. Decal application is next.🙂
  18. Tamiya Gloss White makes a beautiful finish. 🙂
  19. Making some good progress now. 🙂
  20. Thanks Kevin. This "D" and their "C" are the only early B-17 kits around (as far as I know). Koster had a 1/48 conversion but it's hard to find nowadays. I had one at one time but it's disappeared over time. Would have been a bear to build up. 🙄
