Painting now under way. I will remove the rest of the masking tape after I get the top sides painted. 🙂

Making some good progress. I figure to attach the wings soon. At this point I plan to have the gun bays open but that may change later on. 🙂

Thanks Kevin. I used a combination of Barracudacals and Quinta. 🙂

All done with this one. All in all a nice kit with few fit problems other than the Aires gear wells. I have to question (1) the shape of the spinner, and (2) the seemingly oversize gear legs. Maybe it's just me but I think those two things could be "better". I built it OOB with no mods. Painted with ARCUS Ex. Dk. Sea Grey, Xtracolor Sky, and Dk. Slate Grey. Interior and wheel wells are RAF Greygreen. Decals are from the kit. I had to replace the small "77" on the chin as the kit ones disintegrated when I tried to pick them up with tweezers. Luckily all others did okay after I over coated them with clear decal film. 🙂 I hope you like it!

Revell FW-190D repaint
JohnB replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
Thanks Kevin, I'm glad you like the re-do. 😀 -
I had built this model a couple of years ago but recently I decided it needed some "adjustments" 😀). I re-painted and re-decaled for a, I think, more accurate and better looking model. And yes, those are original Luftwaffe boots 🙂. I have 2 pair. I hope you like the way the re-do turned out. 🙂
