Paul My small stash hovers between 25-30 kits and at times I wonder if I will ever actually build them all. I do add new kits when kits have either been built, sold or traded. Of course, the actual number seems to increase over time with new releases asking to be purchased.

Oliver Brilliant detail work as always - simply incredible - just a joy to follow your work

Dave Awesome project and will be following with great interest.

Thanks Kev Very much appreciated. -
Oliver I'm right with Hubert and the right-side door window just looks too odd and out of place. Both sides should be at the same height or one fully down and the other fully up.

Scott A good stash can be an issue with the Chief. We see them as money in the bank and builds down the road that very likely will not be there when we want to build them. Unfortunately, in most cases, the ruling powers to be, see them as just the opposite, can't understand why we buy countless boxes of kits, especially after seeing how many actually get built. At my age, I know I will never build what's in my very thinned out stash and now normally buy just to either replace the open space for a kit I've actually managed to build or even sell to make room for 'new blood'.

RNZAF Corsair completed
Peterpools replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
John Terrific build and great choice on the markings and color scheme. Light, realistic weathering is spot on and looks so good. Of course, now is the time to ask the 64-million-dollar question: what's up next? -
John Heading over to check out your finished Corsair. Another awesome Corsair in the books. Super choice on the markings, color scheme and the light weathering is spot on the money.

Hubert, so very much appreciated. A few bits tomorrow to do and she will be in the books and done. To me ZM just has a way over complicating things, starting with the instructions that are way too cluttered. All in all, I'm very pleased with how the Bf 109 came out. -
Surfing online, I found this awesome photograph: Growing up in the 1950's and a GA fanatic here on Long Island, who doesn't remember the three founders of Zahns Airport. In the day, Zahns was the busiest GA airport in the country. I first soloed at Zahns in 1965, J3 Cub, 2038M. Behind the Big Three, a Beech B35 Bonanza. I bought my plane from AFS in 1971, a Piper PA22 Colt.

ebay - auction win: Still shrink wrapped and brand spanking perfect! 🏆 Think Midway but don't forget the movie: Dive Bombers with: Fred McMurray, Errol Flynn, Ralph Bellamy and Alexis Smith and the movie was in full color. released in 1941.

Thanks Rob Very much appreciated. Learned a few new tricks and techniques along the way and am very pleased how everything blends together. ZM's instructions, while good looking, are over complicated and that, for me, added to some questionable moments. Hoping to finish her up over the weekend and then onto my next 32nd scale project: Tamiya P-51D-5 with a Quinta front office and all the rivets puttied in. -
John Nice work on the weathering ... looking so good and not overdone.

Oliver, right with Harv - awesomemated for sure 🏆
