  1. Kev Very nice work on the front office. From what I remember, loads of parts and at times the instructions weren't that helpful.
  2. Bill I surely had a senior moment (more then I care to count these days). Why I wrote Quinta, I have no idea, as your text and photos clearly showed PE. Looks even better now, as PE is a lot hard to work then 3D resin details.
  3. Right with the guy's Dave, the Big P&W and front office are looking mighty good.
  4. Kev Your progress on the gear bays and gear just amazes me and you surely have it under control. Your build is giving me second thoughts about trying one again.
  5. Rob Beautiful work on the tires, wheels and the parachute packs for the Ratos jets. Paint work and light weathering are superb.
  6. Gaz Wow, surely seems like the 'old world' and I wonder how much of today's technology and lifestyle the island actually has. Surely would be a huge change of life.
  7. Pete Absolutely incredible work. Detailing and weathering is brilliantly done. I'm in the same boat as Kev.
  8. Tim Wonderful progress on the 172's engine and firewall - looks terrific.
  9. Red Fox Cockpit Detail Sets do look excellent and I still wonder why they do not include seatbelts and harnesses as does Quinta, as their pricing is very similar.
  10. Paul My small stash hovers between 25-30 kits and at times I wonder if I will ever actually build them all. I do add new kits when kits have either been built, sold or traded. Of course, the actual number seems to increase over time with new releases asking to be purchased.
  11. Oliver Brilliant detail work as always - simply incredible - just a joy to follow your work
  12. Dave Awesome project and will be following with great interest.
  13. Oliver I'm right with Hubert and the right-side door window just looks too odd and out of place. Both sides should be at the same height or one fully down and the other fully up.
  14. Scott A good stash can be an issue with the Chief. We see them as money in the bank and builds down the road that very likely will not be there when we want to build them. Unfortunately, in most cases, the ruling powers to be, see them as just the opposite, can't understand why we buy countless boxes of kits, especially after seeing how many actually get built. At my age, I know I will never build what's in my very thinned out stash and now normally buy just to either replace the open space for a kit I've actually managed to build or even sell to make room for 'new blood'.
  15. John Terrific build and great choice on the markings and color scheme. Light, realistic weathering is spot on and looks so good. Of course, now is the time to ask the 64-million-dollar question: what's up next?
  16. John Heading over to check out your finished Corsair. Another awesome Corsair in the books. Super choice on the markings, color scheme and the light weathering is spot on the money.
  17. Thanks Pete, So very much appreciated. Getting ready for a few Mustangs to take their turn on the bench.
  18. Martin Looking forward to some tests and your opinions
  19. Carl Now that's a great find for sure. Keep cleaning, whose knows what else you might find😉
  20. Just add the Mustangs to the can never have enough Corsair group
  21. Thanks John Hopefully can wrap up the build tomorrow and onto a P-51 Mustang build. And of course, thanks for all the help along the way
  22. Getting ready for a few 1/32 & 1/48 P-51 Mustangs to enter the coral:
