  1. John Same here and I'm with Paul - od subjects add to the spice of modeling and keep the juices flowing.
  2. Kev Brilliant work and I only wish I had the talent and patience to build a ship - but I know I don't.
  3. John Nice progress on your Big Corsair and the front office is looking even better then the last pic.
  4. Thanks Mark. making some progress every day now and it's fast approaching seam filling around the nacelles which are a bit nasty.
  5. Mark Beautiful detail painting on the landing gear.
  6. Bill, sounds like you make the right decision by pulling the plug on the purchase. Just think, those funds can now be used for another purchase.
  7. Thanks Rob Working towards the paint shop and applying my 'tamiyaesque' finish - hoping there aren't any more blips in the road to take care of.
  8. Gaz, Very much appreciated. Making nice steady progress and working on finishing up the wing and engine nacelles. Next step is the big one; gluing the wings and horizontal stabilizers to the fuselage and of course, more tweaking and filling.
  9. Ernie Keep after him, things are looking up and mighty good
  10. Andy Looking forward down the road to seeing your take on the Whirlwind.
  11. Thanks Andy The Whirlwind is getting there and with some luck, I might be looking at priming sometime next week
  12. John Looking forward to all that fun 🙃
  13. Thanks John Making progress for sure and since the update, I have been working on the wings and nacelles - plenty of filler and sanding lay ahead.
  14. Thanks Kai - she sure is a good looking airplane. Hopefully I'm past all the roadblocks and surprises at this point in the buuld.
  15. Kai Looking forward to the Tornado after your airbrush work. Painting and decaling are my favorites part of any build.
  16. Ernie Absolutely will be looking at using them on future builds. Thanks for posting the close ups.
  17. Mark WOW, the gear looks tremendous i details are outstanding
  18. Mark Steady progress - and your Viggen is approaching the finish line. Amazing work.
  19. Fantastic build, brilliantly done.
  20. Carl Looking good and always a big step in a build; closing up the fuselage as so much work has gone into the build up to that point.
  21. Ernie Your progress is amazing, always moving forward and your detail work keeps bringing the Helldiver up to a new level. I was completely blown away by the Resin2 Detail FastFix Wright CYCLONE R2600, looks spectacular and 3D printed with the ignition lines already on ... now that's simply brilliant.
  22. Thanks Dennis, yup, she is starting to take shape and hopefully all the hurdles are done with. Lots of seams to play with but other then the gear that might offer a bit of a challenge, I'm back on course.
  23. Ernie much appreciated. Truly and elegant airplane and just a shame she never was given Merlin's. The Whirlwind actually isn't a difficult build and the only real issues I've encountered have been due to the poor instructions, which look great but once inside, fall short in aiding the builder. No question, after your helldiver build, the Whirlwind will be a piece of cake.
  24. Thanks Carl for your help as always, it was the perfect fix and shame on SH for not correcting the parts, which are impossible to use as provided or at least add an addendum to the instructions.
  25. John After all the work you did on the Trumpy Corsair to fold the wings, extended wings would be my guess.
