Kev Absolutely agree going to be one Gorgeous Mustang in the paint scheme you are doing. I've been using a lot of the Quantas interiors and just love them and find by integrating them with the kit parts or other AM, the level of detail is amazing. With the fuselage glued up, the cockpit looks really good and quite busy.

Gaz Really nice progress on the figures, the details and the Howitzer. Lot of work to my old eyes and all the work is going to pay off. Most importantly, so glad you have turned the corner and are starting to feel better.

Scott Still, the issue was the delivery company screwed up and couldn't make the delivery. But it seems we just keep paying higher prices and the service just keeps falling shorter and shorter. Nice retiring present for sure ... just a shame Mega no inventory. It's worldwide and over the past few years even SB and SH inventories have been nowhere what they once were; as Out of Stock and Back Ordered are all too common these days.

But the question remains: why 35th scale? Other forums, much larger then ours, the overall response has been very negative and 'not going to buy' strictly based on scale. I would be very interested in a response from Border as to why their choice of scale.

Great subject but I'll be also taking a pass, due to the kit being in 1/35 scale. I can understand why they did their Stuka in 1/35 but haven't bought it either due to the scale.

Let's just drop the whole topic.

Hubert Just as shame as we are paying for this service and there should be a penalty to the shipper for not delivering their parcel on time.

Smitty I know. They random build photos should be in their own thread so if you are following what someone is doing, so you don't have to search for it. Why not just make it easier for those following?

Paul Talk about horrendous service! I've been very lucky over the years with both UPS and FedEX have been 100% reliable. Even the USPS has been very good, just tasks a little longer. Just seems it all starts with the vendor and if at their end things start off bad, things just go downhill. Just glad you finally received what you paid for.

Smitty I'm not talking about that at all ... just posting build threads there, which shouldn't be there.

Rob And the HMS Sphinx is sitting in the wings. As your talents and skills keep upping your game, I can feel it in my bones, we will be treated to many more superb and inspiring wooden ship builds.

Smitty Still doesn't make any sense. For whatever the reasons Martin started his build, all but the opening post should be done in a dedicated build thread. I'm not just saying Martin's build but everyone who posts their ongoing work here. The intent I believe, is to show what you are working on and not keep a running build going mixed in amongst everyone else's. Just too confusing.

Martin I understand but you're missing the point. What is the difference of posting your photos of your build in a dedicated thread, making it easy for us to follow and appreciate or posting it here, where it gets lost and there is no continuity. Same amount of time is needed.

Mark Not sure ... who is the distributer for your neck of the woods and I would try them first. If it's a recent purchase and from a retailer, maybe they can help you replacing the missing parts.
