Finally a P-51B/C .. my modeling prayers have been answered and no doubt will be buying at least 2-3. As with the BF-109G and Ar 234 also announced, I have to agree with Mike .. IT COULD BE YEARS before the kits actually reach the us. It's great to know what is coming down the line but the when is as important. Reaching 71 this past November, waiting even a few years is tough to handle. Peter

Jeff Great idea. A few squadrons of Skyraiders and Corsairs would be wonderful for the mix Peter

MIkew Custom built is expensive but by far the best way as you will have what you want and won't have to settle. I started out looking for used display cases but they are hard to find and unless they are local, shipping is a nightmare. I gave up and bought mine from a company in Texas and shipping to New York was very expensive, a few parts were damaged in shipping and had to be replaced and of course, I had to assemble it. Peter -

MIke Yikes, you're going to need a small hanger with glass doors! My glass display case is 20 inches deep, 6ft tall and 4 ft wide and it's a snug fit for my Mossie. I bought the same display case as Brian and his B-25 is a about as bit as this size display case will accommodate. Peter -
I think I set a record for the most amount of starts and only a few finishes this year. Hopefully over the winter, I'll be able to go back and clean some of the SOD up. Peter

Might just have to start building some 1/144 scale kits, so I can actually build up the secret model fund for all the goodies I want. With each new announcement, my list changes and changes. After Aifix’s announcement of their 1/24 Hellcat coming this summer, my full concentration has been on this Iron Works Gang Cat. I’ve even thought about buying again another 1/24 Airfix Tiffy with the bubble canopy but finding one at a reasonable price has become frustrating hunt. Peter

Just on the chance a new 32nd scale kit is on the way: Swing them wings: F-14 Tomcat Peter

It’s pretty simple as to why: if it sells, keep on the gravy train. We’re passionate on which kits we buy and build. Manufacturers for the most part are not passionate about a subject - their monivation is simply business: profit. Peter

Ron Pretty neat idea. If I have to mask over a decal,I first mask with Tamiya tape - sticky side up and then a very sim bit of Tamiya tape with the sticky side down but only on the painted surface and the balance of the mask is just a solid barrier. Nearly every time in the past when I tried to carefully mask over a sealed decal, I've had the same heartbreak as Danny. Peter -
