Thank you gens. My sense of smell is coming back so I decided to open some extra thing and without spilling it I managed to glue stuff. drilled the pitot, thinned the radio compass array, repainted the prop and finalized the position of major wing parts. Baby steps.

3 Dimensional Boats !! Whatever is next....

Wait, what do you mean by "old"? -

Let’s not challenge the patience of the mighty squirrel. 🐿️ there are already few MiGs waiting in the background and I can’t even blame Carl. today I focused on the gear legs. Added brake lines, some stencils. Wash is drying . I also sealed the surface with dull ore top coat from Testors. There’s still bunch os work left in the form of unwiped wash and detail work on many flaws that I discovered on my photos. Yeah, my eyesight is not what it once use to be so photographing the progress helps to locate and prevent all kinds of embarrassment.

The Legend - Lotus 72D - Tamiya 1/12

Beautiful work Rob. This is going to sound silly, however it just hit me, while looking at your model. This engine was naturally aspirated , no boost. For some reason I would expect turbocharger. -

My accent is "fresh off the boat" which makes name a perfect candidate -
Thank you for the suggestion Maru, I will definitely check it out. History of India and not only the colonial era is utterly fascinating. I just finish last book from the Dungeon Crawler Carl series and now I can't wait for the next release. Needless to say that this book has close to 900 pages, I mean Matt, really ?, it is heavy a.f. and those first 500 pages were more-less of a filler.

Another strange hiccup along the way the flame dampened was sticking too much out and over the exhaust pipes, I’ve noticed it only when I started applying some heat damage, instead I found myself in a world of emotional damage

Little progress today. As I said before “ baby steps” applied majority of the stencils. in order to mimic sand down look of this airframe I combined orange and dark brown Tamiya wash and in a irregular pin wash pattern I covered majority of the top surfaces. That was completed by again highly irregular line wash. Which was consequently wiped down by Q-tip slightly moistened with thinner. then I noticed some kind of repair paint job on the right side of the rudder, not sure if it was done by red oxide primer( possibly) or fresh yellow or one of the camouflage colours. I mixed up my own shade of colour named Kaka. Don’t ask. wheels and flaps got more stencils too, again it’s a slow process. Airfix provided magnificent amount of stencils which partially offsets that booting marking selection. enough said, adding pictures

Kinda sad to brag about this, but with the current prohibition directed on the import of certain chemicals to Canadistan. This can is simply made of unobtanium.
