LOL! Never been to England, but my mind was freaking out when we went to a Caribbean island that was left hand drive. And I was just the passenger. Traffic circles. A great idea from Europe that has been imported here. One small problem no one thought about before incorporating them on to US roads. We have NASCAR racing. Idiots hit the smallest of traffic circles and they think they are their favorite driver trying to take the lead lap and force the other driver into the wall. And then you have drivers that are afraid they are going to break their gas pedal if the step on it too hard. Edit: A new boat landing and beach area they completed last year has a couple of traffic circles incorporated into the roadway leading to the landing area. First problem is there are no roads inter-sectioning the main road. Just a circle in the middle of nowhere. Second, they didn’t build them big enough for a truck pulling a boat. Everyone that has used it hates it. outside the circle is a dirt road circle from guys pulling boats. It’s a joke about South Carolina engineering. It’s obvious that the idiot that designed it never pulled a boat in his life. They even put in islands around the parking area for boat trailers to get hung up on. Now we have everyone having to drive down the wrong side of the road to get out from the launch ramp or risk de-rimming a trailer tire.

Yea, I’m not kidding when I say this, but I think it was ‘22 we had right at 80 small quakes in the 2.0 magnitude. Geologist said it’s from water leaking into the underground plates from the river that comes from our lake. I kind of find it funny that they completely ignored the landfill that’s not far from it. 20 years ago it was level ground, today it’s a 200’ tall “hill” of compacted trash that’s probably teeter tottering the tectonic plates below it.

Nicely done John! I keep waiting for Quinta to release their printed interior set before I start mine. I asked them over a year ago if they had plans to produce them and they said they were. I have two kits in the stash and I keep telling myself that’s all I need. LOL.

Just look at the starboard engine. Top then side. What kind of wizardry are they using here? Panel lines on drawing? Nothing like the engraving on the model. ugh…off for another beer.

After trying to decipher these damned Revell 3 views, I’m now drinking. Well, that and trying to find my lawn edger blades I saw in my garage a couple of weeks back. They were right there. I told myself don’t touch them because I need to change the blade. Nope. Gone. I’m pissed. Screw it. Just ordered more off Amazon. But back to the 3 views. Top view shows both nacelles obviously the RLM 70. Side view shows one RLM 71. Impossible. Fuselage, same stupid mistakes. Patterns from above have no damned way to match side views. None. Just no way. It would take a year just to rewrite the instructions for this kit if they were to bring it out again.

Well, I guess the wings turned out OK. After this drys I’ll tape up the fuselage and shoot it. Decided to do this in two parts due to the sheer size.

Just read about y’all’s 4.8 Any models bouncing off shelves? We’ve had a rash of quakes in our area about 10-12 miles from my home Our biggest was a 3.2 It’s the only one I felt Good luck with the rebuild, let me know if we need to donate to your damaged stash

28” wing tip to wing tip. If I build anything bigger I’m going to need one of those inflatable paint booths.

Thanks John. Things are pacing slowly due to the wife’s health issues right now. I’m her chauffeur, chef, gofer, laundry maid and entertainment. Thankfully we have a lady coming in to do the cleaning today. I thought I’d have time to start masking out and painting a few of the dark splinter areas today, but the surgeon just ordered an MRI of a cyst they discovered on one of her lungs. So off to the imaging center at lunch time today.

Fantastic! Welcome to the party and the website! I’ll be watching this one closely since I have the same kit in the stash too.

Before I retired that was my line I used as I was leaving work. Especially since the new home was an hour drive.

8’ whip hose Also comes in other lengths at HF Mini filter with 1/4” NPT inlet and outlet. Quick disconnects put quick disconnect on hose whip end, other end into filter. Go to hardware store and get a 1/4” NPT nipple and connect quick disconnect to outlet on filter or screw air hose directly onto nipple to reduce chance of air leak. Use Teflon tape on all threads. Hose with 1/4” NPT on one end. But like I mentioned, I don’t have a moisture issue in my house.

Question. Are you airbrushing inside with the compressor in the house? Is so, it shouldn’t be a problem. I don’t have a moisture issue. But apparently your Badger says you do. But yea, very simple. Hold on, let me go find what you need and post it. As far as the airbrush hose, mine has a 1/4” NPT female end that a quick disconnect goes into.

Fisher A-1E Fat Face Skyraider-best base kit option

I’d pick out one with the underwing bombs and stuff you want to use or keep as spares. That’s a great price on those kits. -
Fisher A-1E Fat Face Skyraider-best base kit option

Any of the three will work. All the usable parts are the same. When I built mine there was a shortage of the kits. Took me a while to get my hands on one. Typical of my luck. Go for the lowest cost kit you can find. Im pretty sure I used the AD-4 boxing with the sea blue plane on the front. -

Cool. I’ll sit down with the instructions tomorrow sometime and PM you. I will say, there is no rhyme or reason for their sprue numbering of parts. An assembly might require parts 87, 88, 89 & 90. None of them might be close on the same sprue and I can almost guarantee they will be on three different sprues. And the sprues are not lettered like Tamiya does. You’ll spend a lot of time parts searching.
