Sometimes these rules are a bit silly. My favourite for these alternate markings are the ones on the McLaren F1 GTR. Instead of saying "Have a Davidoff" which is a cigarette brand, they said "Have a Day off". Some font and size. Carl

Peter, the oldest kit on my shelves of doom is the Tamiya 1/12 MP4/6. I started it back in 1993 when I was in Taiwan for university.

P-51C racer "Thunderbird"
BlrwestSiR replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Nice progress on yet another cool looking racer. I have the exhausts if you still need them John. I had to check the subject that I was doing to see if I needed the shrouded or unshrouded exhausts. Let me know and I can pop them in the mail for you. Carl -
Martin, a new record?

Too late. Maybe I can hide in it when it arrives. She'd never look inside.

Nice kit there Rob. Glad to see you have the correct markings for it too. Carl

I think it's big enough to get buried in. Carl

Jimmy this morning showing his enthusiasm for his second, longer walk. I had to lift him up and turn him on his sides to get his harness on. Of course the moment the door opened he was up and ready to go. Carl

Dragon Panther A with Zimmerit
BlrwestSiR replied to GazzaS's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Looks good there Gary. Decals over zimmerit is never easy. Yours look to have confirmed themselves nicely. As for the puppy, Jimmy usually is up around 630 for his first morning walk. Ugh. Carl -
Kaiser too, even if he's been a bit of a slow one on the potty training. Jimmy's been the same way so I can relate. Carl

Gary, the camo looks good to me. The squiggles are nice and tight, very much in scale. Carl -

At the opposite end of Martin's big S-199, my 1/144 Night Falcon. Surprisingly, it has full intake trunking and even an engine. It should make for a quick build. Carl -

Those new screens look much better than the 3D ones you had. Definitely worth the swap out. And I like the bent/walked on look. The other additional details look great too. Carl -
Something we're trying to get our 8 year old son to understand. And failing badly at it.

Meanwhile, we took Jimmy to obedience class today. Obviously it was quite tiring for the little guy...

Been there, experienced that. At least he didn't electrocute himself.

That's a great deal you got there Gary.

Looking great there Tom. Too bad Xtracolour doesn't come in quart cans. Glad to hear you're recovering too. Carl -
Beemax is supposed to be releasing a Ford RS200 at some point. That would be a kit I'd get a couple of. I haven't seen any reviews on the Italeri Delta so haven't made my mind up on that kit. Model Factory Hiro have done it on 1/12 but the price is almost a mortgage payment. Carl

It's Winter and a Nor'Easter is heading our way
BlrwestSiR replied to Peterpools's topic in General Discussion
Glad to hear you're all right Peter. We're getting anywhere from 5-20 cm f snow starting this afternoon through tomorrow. The city still hasn't cleared the snow from 2 weeks ago. Half the brand new plows they bought for doing sidewalks were broken for that one. I wonder how many will work this time. Carl -

Done - F-4EJ Kai Phantom - The Last of it's Kind ZM 1/48

Great progress on the decal work on your Kai Rob. It seems the Japanese loved their stencils on their jets. I'm going to have to do something similar on my F-104J build.- 177 replies

The figures look good Gary. I always have trouble cleaning up the mould seams with all the folds in the clothing. See if you can get some Aizu tape. It's like Tamiya tape but comes in different widths as narrow as 0.4mm. I think BNA might carry it. Carl -
Nice price but shipping to Canada almost doubles that. Carl
