Having the Dragon T95 in the stash, I really don't trust the self destructing DS tracks it came with. I finally decided to get the Rye Field T80 tracks for the kit. Due to the T95 having a double run of tracks, I need 3 sets of Sherman tracks to outfit it. My LHS got a shipment of Fruil tracks in so I grabbed the Conqueror ones for my Badger. They also had a few of the BSG kits in. Mobius recently lost the license to make these so they're getting hard to find. I decided to get them while I could.

No, chainsaws are too much manual labour Martin. Semtex does the same but with much less physical exertion.

Thanks for the info Hubert. Glad to hear it's one of their better efforts. Carl

Guess it shows they're human after all. Both Hobby Design and Top Studio make detail sets for the Panigale. I think someone does a PE chain too. Yup, individual PE chain links. -
Idea... missing the large scale ships here. ...

Forget 1/200, how about this one? It was built for the film Raise the Titanic. I wonder if they got the hull right? With the Bronco Type XXIII on my bench, that's about as big as I'd want to get a model me thinks. More importantly I think that's as big as Sue would let me. -

Me too! Looks good so far. -
Ernie, glad to hear your business is doing well. Haven't had an adult tooth pulled much less a cavity. Didn't get wisdom teeth either so the most I've ever had done at the dentist is my usual cleaning and inspection. With the restrictions on travel having just changed recently it's too late to make plans to attend. There was so much uncertainty that we ended up booking a number of campsites in provincial parks for the same time frame and staying here. One day I'll get down there and meet you all. Carl

Or doing it backwards and getting the AM first. I wanted to get the Trumpeter 1/32 F/A18-F. I started buying the AM I wanted - intakes, burner cans, decals but couldn't find the kit at a reasonable price. I gave up after a couple years and sold the AM bits off. -
Great progress there Bill. Carl

Mark, fantastic progress you're making. The brakes look life-like. At least they're in better shape than the ones I took off our Honda last weekend. Carl -

CF-18. Here's what got me to take it out. An Aires cockpit that fits without making everything paper thin. -
Well, if you want to make it worse, Rosso made one in 1/24 as well. They did all the stock versions including the one with the funky bass tube that filled the hatch area. They were somehow related/connected to Fujimi but weren't around long. I've been after one of their 1/12 NSX kits for forever after I melted the one I had.

Cool! Now you just need the Hasegawa one. Alithough it was 1/12 scale.

Hey, I've got that RX-7 too. In fact I j ust took the body out and painted it. Just wanted to try out some paint techniques.

I don't have the X-02 but I did get the Hellhound when it first came out. Talk about a mean looking gunship.

That's definitely weathered. -

Nice start Bill. I think I took the same approach to the fuselage you have. For the folding wings, check the ZM website as there is an addendum to getting the wing join together. I can't recall if I followed it but I did get my wings to stay functional. Carl

Great progress there Peter. Definitely a different approach to solving some of the inherent challenges on an F-4 kit. Best part is it has worked out very nicely. Carl

Awesome paint scheme and job doing it Gus. It'll definitely stand out as the others have said. Carl -
Nice, fairly compact collection there Gaz. I've gotten most of mine sorted with the basement reorganization. How do you find that Panther book? The External Appearance one? Carl

My LHS has a couple on their shelf. $60 each. One word of caution. We opened one and the funky rubbery gear bay walls were deformed and brittle/cracking in one of them so I suspect the other is the same.

Thanks for the great pics Martin. I used a white grey so definitely not pure white. I'll be giving it a light Wash that should tone it down further.
