Thanks Carl will do a light wash after the Semi-Gloss goes down and hopefully some exhaust staining. I am glad I did not SOD the kit once you get pass the pit it got easier.

The decals are complete with an overspray of Future and the final details are being worked out.I was painting the rear view mirror and it kinda stuck to the tweezers and I p/u the tweezers for something else forgetting and lost it!I have already started fashioning a new one which should be more in scale .

Can't see any mishaps on this one John all looking good.

The paint has been laid down and with some trepidation as to the scheme?The ASK decals showed what looked correct until you got to the R/side of the plane and then all of a suddenly the canopy went D.Earth and the camo did not line up with the L/side at all so I add hock.I think it came out looking pretty good thus far tons of shades for Azure blue go look went the darker it's what ASK showed?The livery will be S.African with the Gazelle up front L/side.I still have some PE on the tail and inside the canopy to do last things for sure.

The Easy Eight is complete painted the figure tonight and glued in the light bezels.I actually got pupils on the figure using a .015 brass rod used light sand for the face base and came back with a darker sand on prominent areas it's OK need lots more practice on AFV's.

I think I go the Z Bargain brother my Wife said why not build a shop out back and said it first Kevin jumped! I go 16' X 24' mine is 16' X 30' but 16' X 7' is my work area the rest is wood work etc. and it's less yard work!

I don't understand Martin Airfix made a "K" then why the enhancements? I am missing something here for sure enlighten the dim bulb if you may?

Dennis I like reading Clive Cussler they take me to places I have never or ever will go I particularly like the the Sam/Remi Fargo series currently reading"The Mayans Secrets"."The Lost Empire" was probably one of the best in the series yet.The movie "Sahara" with Matthew McConaughey was one of his books and "Raise the Titanic".

So the wings are on had a step on the R/side and a small seam on the L/side.Carl I had the same issue at the wing tip you had and the holes on the front of the wing not quite lining up.I sanded down the butt side that glues to the lower gear section till it all lined up.The tailplanes are built now as well as the rudder just not all ie attached.I like the way they did the landing lights with the bulb inside and then the cover.The kit in it first 48 hrs looking at the SOD I am glad that perseverance paid off the kit is not that bad good as PCM which I did not liken it to at the beginning.

Chris we have zero carpet in the house except for a throw rug it's all wood flooring or tile so much easier maintenance so the Wife says it was her decision.

The pit is complete and the fuselage has been buttoned up it came out better than what was being perceived in my mine earlier this week.The Quintas helped quite a bit even though the IP pic sucks it was light years over the PE/film supplied.I did the seat belts a tad wrong but I liked the way they float so left will enough alone. Carl how did you go about the wing assembly follow the instructions?I am inclined to glue the upper wing to the fuse for a good joint and maybe better dihedral?This would be a first for me ever! Carl I figured it out attach the gear bay area then the upper wing later the lower.

Looking good John I have the the ICM in the stash but need more storage room...cabinet space.

Alright got the main components of the copit done and about to spray the primer then the RAF GreenGrey.I have the Quinta's kit for the inside and will use the etch as an outline to plastic card to which the Quinta's will be located seeing most of these are all black..I am thinking by the beginning of next week I should be pass the pit and onto the rest of the main assembly....the easy part
