    I have not looked but wood guess the Bismarck was maybe 100' longer than the Scharnhorst the hull is 2/3" longer.

    He's been given a coat of acrylic clear to protect what has been thus far.I now move forward to the details of straps with much gold/brass effect this way the paints won't mingle I am using enamels and lacquers.

    MiniArt 1/16 Knight just for in between builds.I had to spray the area under the red/blue white then tape off for the borders.I was kinda surprised I could paint that well with the airbrush within said boundaries.Learn something new today.

    Thanks Mike but I think his green on the hull from what I have seen is to light maybe he's doing a weathered look.I have the deck for the 1/200 Bismarck and the kit arrives tomorrow.

    I will poke my head in on this think the dials on Quinta are still better represented.My father grew up in Edenton NC in the 1920's enlisted in the Army Air Corp in 37.

    I know that feeling Jeroen if the F9 Panther on the desk right now does cooperate tonight it going to fly.It's looking good though maybe start doing some OoB builds maybe one or two?

    John I have it on good advice don't loose the sheen Japanese A/C were almost a semi-gloss.I know a fella on another forum from Aussie who does and research IJN A/C alot and says they were not flat in color.

    I picked this kit up at the IPMS meet for like 10 or 15 bucks the moldings are 1990 and the decals are 2001 the stencils some were giving way.The plane is Lt.Brubaker that William Holden portrayed in the movie "A bridge at Toko-Ri"

    I had four small pieces come in the mail today from L-R wood deck 1/350 Roma,New front Windscreen for Trump 1/24 Spitfire and some decals for the 1/32 Trump kit.I also not picture got my new holding rack for the four airbrushes it will hold six.

    So I have done their He-111 and the A-26B and luv'ed them both no seams on par with Tamiya.I have the 1/32 Falco in the stash bi-planes take a certain amount courage from me that damn upper wing.

    No pics but when Ruben was selling off some of his stuff I p/u the Revell He-111 and the HB A-26B.The A-26 have already p/u the metal L/G,Two engines inbound 3D and mask to which I have Quintas coming in for both.

    Looking good John my father was a radio operator with the 92nd BG I have one B-17 1/48 the ole Revell I do need to do another.

    I built this kit so wanted it but the LG's to me suck really just about any 1/24 kit really needs metal LG yours came out much nicer than mine.
