Oh yeah John that looks great the subtle weathering and chipping I like it alot.

I have been working some color today on the plane to which I feel pretty good about. The two boxes on the l/side of the fuse covered up some ole unit markings methinks.I will start to lay down some clear in a bit and start decaling tomorrow night,

Well when the final sprues(border) come out and if they look like the CAD I might bite.

I had a bit of a snafu with the pit the consoles I installed on the opposite sides making the front part of the fuselage not able to close by a 1/16".The other problem was I had glued the the fuse all the way to rear gunners position! I let the rookie mistake sit for a couple of days was looking at ordering another kit and Quintas??The idea came wet the seam down a curve blade and start the seperation it was complete in 5/10 minutes with zero damage.Once I had the front portion of the pit out could see the consoles extending out beyond the IP.The Quinta's was carefully removed and sanding commenced till it fit and then reassembly. The wings are now glued on just a little filler up front and below no biggee.

Had to put down the dog... and another relocation
KevinM replied to Winnie's topic in General Discussion
I have done the dog part not easy at all mine was with us for 18 1/2 years.I cried more over putting her down than burying my FIL and Brother all happened in a 6 month window and the Son left for the military. -
I have the the 1/72 SH(?) about 80% exact same camo but in there ole kit they supplied what looks like hand rails of some type along the mid section of the fuselage above the wings and pictured on the box?must be this is a different version? excellent looking clear parts!!

Thanks Martin. Happy to have you along Paul so it must of been Karl who was looking to see her built? Thanks Rob but she will OOB for the most part except for here once she hits the cabinet no one will know better. I hear ya Mike the reason I try to keep the number of builds going down as of right now the 410,George and the Scharnhorst. This build will have the cannon out front. Thanks all for popping in to look.

I have started another little 1/48 seeing space is starting to run out the Meng Me-410 with the only add-ons being the Quintas Interior. The fit thus far has been quite Nice I have even placed the copit and gunner section within the fuselage halves fit looks excellent. The kit also supplies both engines and look like they might be pretty good for 1/48 sadly I will properly close those up once built.I also have the Revell 1/48 in the stash to which I order my mask for it when I ordered this one's mask.I think it was Carl that asked I do a build log then it could of been Paul either way here it is.Pics of work done thus far....

The canopy got taped and black based last night and sprayed silver this morning just a couple light touch ups left. The stand I built today wanted something lighter and more adjustable should handle a twin engine easy 16"LX14"W.Though you cannot see them all the woods Lyptus(SA),Red Oak,Black Oak and 3/16" plywood a project leftover from wife's little kiddie class.
