I headed out to Joe's place about 30minutes from the house to go shoot and trouble shoot his 1944 Inland M-1 carbine.I pulled up in the drive way to the shop out back No Joe? I said will this ought to get his as up I loaded and popped off ten rounds real quick he got his butt off the back porch behind me.My Carbine is a SpringField of which only 3000 receivers were made but never put together and was built by Jerry Khunehausen with the rest of the parts all being GI Issue,I have been having problems with the rear sight coming loose so I stake what I thought pretty good?I cut loose another ten rounds standing at 10" plate @ 100yds and hit 6/10 in quick succession.Joe is 82 Army Vet VM radio operator carried the M1/.45 he can still shoot he missed ten rounds blaming his L/eye I said "Joe I think you are going high".He hands me the rifle I miss I look at the rear sight and said "Joe it's on 200yds" "don't touch it" he then said reset it I hit it 5/10 his front sight had been filed. We BS more than we shot his shop is over 2X of mine like 1200 sq ft full like they all are. He's a good friend 20yrs my senior but sharp as tack mind wise.

This was no SOD build but a kit I bought at the Covington ,LA meet very simple and basic strictly OOB except for the IP I punch various instruments from the 1/48 ICM He-111 I had left over the kit provided zero(keep learning). As I said nothing special but I have another WWII era Soviet Fighter in the cabinet. The kit has maybe 15/20hrs in it.

Agree with the interior feelings Ernie I am just about done with the Mig-3 straight OOB.

You have a small model going on just there Jeroen

That design use to be the norm in the South high ceilings move the heat up off the floor then they used small slot windows in the 11/12' area to move the heat out. We have the same hear Hubert looking for my water usage to be high this month for the lack of rain.

New house better insulation? my 1961 has zero insulation in the walls and having seen how it helps termites I'll keep it that was.I did install double pane windows and had R-30 blown in the addict that was 25years ago.I am reading outrageous amounts for parts of TX just can't believe it yet.

Just a poll on model preferences because I’m curious.
KevinM replied to ScottsGT's topic in Modelling Discussion
I prefer props from early flight to WWII family history Father in the 8th w/92BG.I do like early jets up to VM. -
Mine gets there in the winter months Guy Gas heating.I asked this because I know we have a few members in TX and hear the bill has really gone up?The 326 is the most I have ever had usually 250/275 during the summer.
