I am right there with you Scott in numbers and alot of 1/32 of late. I almost pulled the plug on either the A-20 Havoc or the WhirlWind last night stopped and glad I did I have way to many kits.I will most likely make the NorthShore Model Show on 6/17/23 and only cash is king in those walls.I think I will bring the S-100 and pick a plane

Tom was in his mid 50's, retired from his 30 years in the U.S. Navy, starting a second career. However, he just couldn't seem to get to work on time. Every day 5, 10, 15 minutes late. But he was a good worker, extremely sharp, so the Boss was in a quandary about how to deal with it. Finally, one day he called him into the office for a talk. "Tom, I have to tell you, I like your work ethic; and you do a bang-up job, but you're being late so often is really quite bothersome." "Yes, I know Boss, and I am working on it." "Well good, you are a team player. That's what I like to hear. It's odd though, you're coming in late so often. I know you're retired from a lifelong career with the Navy. What did they say if you came in late there?" They always said, "Good morning, Admiral."

Thanks Peter I can see were how the instructions would have one build the WWs outside the wing and then install was an assine way to go about when the layout is in the wing.I will once the wing is built up tape up the Fuse and see from there. -
Thanks Gary I think she will look presentable when all said and done Not that much risk Rob a piece of paper with a sliver of tape on the overhang and Wa La

Now I thought Peter had issues in the WWs and I saw a YT with the same issues then maybe all stopped and never made to that point? -

The donor plane got shot down by flak I believe one month before the end of the war and the fuse moved all about till it ended up here. The pilot the base thought was captured he showed up 4 days later on a bike he got from a farmer. The YT video is this here -
I started on this because no stuff came in for me today from the post man and plus been watching videos on YT of the Tempest.I watched one last night the dedication of one being restored a Typhoon in the UK with a sabre engine that has never been fired up yet new in the crate 80years now!!So I mentioned on another thread that slips me at the moment should/when I start this build the WW's would be the first place I venture to.I have seen builds stall when they get here even a YT vid.Well....I decided the instructions suck in this area and since they give you a Nice relief in the lower wing I started with the front piece and worked clockwise and it went together like a champ. The upper wings have already been checked for fit and it slips in like a dream.I will finish the wing and move onto the fuselage in the next couple of weeks.

The finish line is not that far off no mail today so no yellow The canopy was a bit of a PIA probably more me than the manufacture I go outside the box/instructions and gets me in trouble but I resolved that issue.I have been touching up the nose decal with black tonight hence the yellow.I like it when you decorate the props just that little more touch. One pic of the port side of the fuse shows a decal that moved but also those ribs numbers not 9 like the 109 but 18.

So their is about four of us who have this one in the stash it seems.I will be following along to see were if any hiccups occur Bill.
