  1. I know I'm not very original but: WOW!
  2. Feeling for you, Carl. They always leave a big void, but also irreplaceable merry memories.
  3. I'll follow your build with great interest. I have the 1/48 Tamiya F16 C aggressor kit in the stash. Hope, TBH I'm pretty sure, to learn a lot about the aggressor versions. Nice extras!
  4. I think my jaw just dropped into the carpet monster's claws...😉 Absolutely great!
  5. Late in joining the audience, Rob. Your modelling is truly amazing.
  6. The Tempest is one of my favourite aircrafts, the peculiarities of the Napier Sabre engine are fascinating and this is going to be a very interesting build. Enough reasons to pull up a chair and follow your progresses, Jeroen.
  7. I have to follow your build: it's amazing, and that's a blatant understatement!
  8. I thought he was searching in his pocket for a dime to tip the parking guy... ...I'll get my coat...
  9. I have to clean my keyboard: too much drooling! Amazing; a "Never tired to watch" class model.
  10. I'm in awe. Peter, you are pushing me towards Platypus breeding as a hobby instead of modelling. 😉
  11. Sorry Jeroen but I'm not a "socialist" 😄 too... I just post on (few) model forums.
  12. Asking myself how did those Westland/Rolls Royce engineers think it would have been efficient. Those exhaust gas had to go a long way before being expelled...or maybe I'm missing some piece of info about it.
  13. Modelling from outer space,😉 to me at least. Simply WOW!
  14. Kriss, the camouflage looks convincing. I don't think it could be better if freehand painted unless you are a real Raffaello (no, not the Turtle ) and yes, the masks do appear to be slightly overscaled. I tried to train my hand on freehand brush painting at 1/72 scale on a "mule" MC202 with the (fill in the blank ) _________ results you can see in the picture. Maybe 1/32 is more suitable for a free hand airbrush attempt to that camo scheme. Andrea
  15. I'm really interested in how that mask set will work out. I have a Hasegawa 1/48 MC202 in the stash and I was straining my poor brain on how to paint the smoke ring scheme without spending weeks on training freehand airbrushing . I know there's a decal set too, but it sounds like cheating...... to me, at least.
  16. Oliver, just finished to scroll the whole thread and I'm seriously considering to resume my old idea to shift from modelling to platypus breeding Andrea
  17. Really sad for your loss. My condolences to you and to all those who are suffering for your partner's fatality.
  18. My stash is still in its "teens"; being a very slow modeler, I think it fits my needs. Anyway, my wish list is rather long ,... but I shall resist... or at least try to... .
  19. I deleted my post because I realized the subject should be a T55 while mine is a T 62, so, wrong tank.
  20. Me too, Hubert and all other social media too. Model forums are the maximum effort I can indulge, and only in limited doses.
  21. Hubert, just yesterday on our local newspaper informed that a school in Udine is renewing one of its training a/c and their C45 will leave the aircraft maintenance teaching lab, where it contributed to create maintenace crews for decades, to be fully restored and put again into the air. Here is a link to a page showing their collection of "didactical tools", unfortunately in Italian language, and their facebook page. If you need info about the Beech, I think you can find a good source in that school. http://www2.malignani.ud.it/WebEnis/aer/sezione/parcoAerei.htm https://m.facebook.com/ISIS-Arturo-Malignani-111902640254643/ Andrea
  22. Very easy to answer as, at the moment, just one is finished and still at home (the others are already in the new but still inhabited house). Unfortunately, it's not a LSM, it's a BrailleSM... . in a normalr situation my choice would be the Panther ausf G
  23. My small stash (about 10 kits) is proudly displaying the EduArt P40N and the Takom Panther ausf.G w/steel weels full interior: quite big boxes and rather full but not as big as those of BlrwestSir. Sorry but no pics available; I'm divided from my bench and stash by COVID security measures as I've been caught by the movement restrictions in the middle of the transfer to a new house... Andrea.
