  1. Thanks for this "insight", i knew i must have missed something last year on the Mustang front, being a big affectionado on the type. I have several AM kits to be usefull for the Mustang conversion-improvement, but they´re somewhere deep down in the stash...... Have to dig into it. J.
  2. Lovely presentation, for sure. Question: did you use any AM parts for gearbay, cockpit interior and windshield/canopy, because i had no opportunity to check your work in progress Jack
  3. John, BEOOOOOTIFULL, you made it, the best P51B to date!! Congratulations Jack
  4. And here's a pic showing me and my grandson having fun:
  5. Jeeeeez Harv, that's some "mugshot" alright, wishing you all the luck you can get, hope there's some light at the end of that mugshot tunnel..... take care, Jack
  6. You did a very good job on that one, looking "misterious and menacing" at the same time,
  7. And besides that item, i wouldn't want to sit in such an aircraft being launched while the main gear tracks are moving along a very very narrow path, so with the possibility of running off those tracks without a guiding system (with only the sling pulling on the bomber) would be a disaster in the making.........just my two p's
  8. Yes indeed some very interesting pics, must have been really great walking around all these aviation gems, thanks for showing them to us. Jack
  9. I was triggered by a message on LSP by Martin, and this was only because i was away from home some time and didn't check both sites, but i hope Harv will have a speedy recovery, i can imagine the outcome of a unfortunate fall and trying to recover from it, take care Harv!! Jack
  10. Well i don't think so, but thank you for saying, but HubertB is having a larger elaborate stash of different kits, whereas i have some conversion kits that ofcourse fit onto IM kits, but i think he has complete kits in total. But anyhow, it is almost a shame to get them built, but ofcourse one should, me also, but a few months ago i had this Twogar for sale, sold it (not on LSP or LSM) but found another one in the stash (have toooooo many kits, never gonna build them in a lifetime) and was considering offering the resin kits "back" to Paul Fisher as some guys at LSP suggested, in order for Paul to maybe use these kits as new shape patterns if and when he would be able to restart his business, but apparently nothing came of it yet (at least as far as i know) Must have been a nightmare for him experiencing that ordeal in California that year.......... Jack
  11. Hi guys, just stumbled onto this thread, will follow this one for sure, have two of those kitty Hawk kits around here somewhere.....🤔
  12. Actually the Mirage cockpit sets were meant for the "old" revell Mirages, didn't try them out on the newer releases yet......
  13. wasn't it called "evil-bay" already years ago??
  14. Boa noite Hubert, Just stumbled onto this thread, and it's very very interesting to see your approach towards building and eventually finishing this kit. Have the same in the stash waiting to be built (yeah right, with my building progress.....) so i'll try and follow this build with interest. good show, Jack.
  15. Thanks for showing Maru, indeed a very interesting project. J.
  16. i would almost say: been there, done that, and now........... On the PSA issue one should probably take more attention, i myself am in the prostate cancer rollercoaster , since i myself asked to make a PSA test (the first ever for me, being 68 years of age now) while doing my yearly aeromedical checkup, and the number went up in such a way that i was advised to have a talk with my personal doctor, and so i came to have all these tests from probing to MRI to biopsies to PET/CT scans (fortunately no spreads further down the line), and it turned out to be prostate cancer, albeit in the lower regions, but has to be taken care of, not just observing. I opted for the radiation treatment, and it started with a hormone suppressant period of three months, ending this June, and thereafter 28 radiation sessions, 4 each week, so after 7 weeks the actual treatment would be over, somewhere mid august this year.....and then the "aftermath"...... the least "bother" is ofcourse due to this condition i'm legally unfit to fly, with all the consequences that goes with it, but i'm confident eventually it'll be the best approach to have this tackled......... wish me luck........ Jack
  17. ok, everybody in the circuit switch off your radios.........now switch them back on again......

  18. Hubert, thanks for the info, didn't know HPH has its own type of glue, will dig into this, so to speak👍
  19. Hi Neil, that looks very promising, never had a planet model kit, have some Fisher kits and HPH's, but i'm having this health issue regarding using super glue, the fumes that appear when you're bonding parts clog my sinisus , so when working with resin i look like a NBC warrior, wearing high quality facemasks, go figure. Anyhow, have fun building and finishing this beauty. Jack
  20. Hi Maru......... Feared i lost your personal addy, found it again, and sent you a mail, nothing special, but didn't know you were active at LSM, i myself joined LSM quite some years ago, but almost never used it as a participant, actually being only active at LSP, but i might think this over. Take care, and hopefully we'll meet some day in real time, cheers, Jack........
  21. Great pictures, Rob, and certainly helpfull with the HPH Cat!!
  22. Hope to be able to visit the convention, i think i will, but without models of my own, the ones i showed are pretty old and i didn't built in a long time, so i'm trying to get into the game again in LSP with a "jurasic Group build". So, see you in Putte. groeten, Jack.
  23. Thanks Cees, the Bronco was started a whole lot of years ago by LSP Lee White from Long island as a vacform project, and i received the basic parts and finished it. The Mohawk on the other hand is scratchbuilt, but i would do that one different today, still waiting for a IM kit Jack.
  24. Ben, super great work, that recce crusader is looking awesome!!! Ofcourse the Prowler is top notch too, you're taking both to the Putte show? cheers, Jack.
