  1. Hi George, Thnx! Cees just pointed out to me that the instruments were often positioned in angles in the ww1 IP's. Just had a look at the WnW site, and he's right! I positioned all the instrument's as indicated by WnW, but maybe they used the Hendon machine as an example. Check this out:
  2. I love this plane and what you're doing with it. I agree on the progress that has been made with WnW kits. Also noticable with the Junkers J1 kit. The fit, detail and placement of sink marks have greatly approved Very keen on seeing your WIP.
  3. Hi all! Having almost finished the Fokker E.III and the fact that I've got a few days off, I decided to crack open the Ninak. Got all the HGW upgrades available. The IP panel is fantastic. Sand down the plastic bezels. Glue the PE plate one. Then a wood grain decal, followed by PE circles for the instruments. Then the kits' decals. Followed by PE bezels. Al it needs not is the compass and the copper switches. Pretty impressed so far and I've only covered the IP! Cheers, Jeroen
  4. Just amazing. Love this build and can't wait to see what you'll do to do Hisso. Bring it on! (see you at Heiden!)
  5. Thnx Guys! Allready said it to James today: work is seriously messing with my bench time! Still managed to finish the rigging today. All that's left is some more weathering and washes. Also some black inner discs to be sprayed on the wheels. Cheers, Jeroen
  6. Oooh! lovely. But what did I tell you... Where's the half full beer can to show the size? It should be in every photo
  7. The easiest and most expensive way is simply getting it from www.ima-usa.com. 2000 dollars. I'm sure I'll find one for less though... The hunt is on!
  8. Thnx Guys, Allready thinking about my next build. The DH.9a... How cool would this be for a base. A ww1 Lewis gun ammo drum...
  9. Well, I can see the can is still half full in your build! I was amazed at the size of this thing. Lot's of challenges to tackle!
  10. Tnx guys, Was hoping to get her done this weekend, but stuff got in the way. It's getting there. In the meanwhile I'm reading in on the DH.9a. Lovely stuff...
  11. Damn... I had not thought of that. The double downtipped ailerons i did notice..
  12. Hi Will, I used Alclad Dark aluminum and hand painted the swirls with a fine brush and Mr Hobby chrome. For the rigging i use EZ line and Bob's Buckles albion tubes. Had to share this video i just found. The dog has a magnet in it I think and starts the engine:
  13. I know its gonna be big, but i still need to ser it up close. Too cool...
  14. Hi Cees, This is going to be huge! Even if you'll never get further than the fuselage
  15. Holy crap! You just don't stop do you? What a great finish. And then to think i usually don't fall for blonds... Wow...
  16. They're great! And you can get them right here www.arrow-wolf.com
  17. That would make a great website cookie notification Dave!! Here's the rigging started. Drilled the plastic turnbuckles through and through. Used albion tubes as well.
