I know it is only 11 months to go but I thought I would start a discussion about the convention.

I plan on going and bringing 3 or 4 planes to the show.
I was hoping that we could get a good crowd together for this one.
Hope to hear from everyone, have a great year of building.

I plan to go , but things seem to be constantly changing so you never know. I will have to fly so it will be one build for me, and certainly not a jet. Hopefully things will be opened up a bit more so there will be more vendors than I heard were there this year.

I mentioned to my wife that next year was in Omaha, and she was actually kind of interested!! She didn't want to go to Vegas, but she wants to go to Omaha? Go figure. I will never truly understand her, and I have quit trying.

At any rate, that might actually be a possibility, depending on what we do for our 25th next spring. We were actually thinking about renting an RV and doing the old fashioned road trip, so maybe we just put it off until late July......

After the show in Omaha last time I rented a car and drove across Nebraska to North Platte where my father was born, and really enjoyed it!

Yup found the house he grew up in until he went of to WWII at 16. Also found my grandfather's gravesite, who passed away long before I was born.

Only a 15 hour drive. Definitely doable...

I'll be in New York at the end of October. West Point to be exact.

Omaha is right smack in the middle of the Country.  It’s a 6 hour drive for me and Joy and I will definitely be there.  I’ll be bringing 3 or 4 models I expect, and I think we can get a good bunch together for this one and have a really good time.

LET’s do it!

Just over 23 hours one way from here. Probably have to spread that over 3 days to keep it from being too heavy. Not the fastest, but would allow us to see a lot of country, and driving may be the best option available to us, depending on the kung flu situation next year. And, I can bring models!! Surprisingly, renting a small SUV and staying in hotels is looking cheaper than everything except flying. Trains are quite expensive (for sleepers), and RV rentals are even worse. For what that would cost, I'd be better off buying the RV and selling it when I get home! I guess we'll see.....
