Administrators JeroenPeters Posted January 14, 2024 Administrators Posted January 14, 2024 This Revell model took me the better part of a year to finish. All masks, no decals (1Manarmy.be). 3D printed ejection chutes and all the aftermarket you can think of. Master, Eduard, HGW, etc.. The crash relic is from the this particular plane itself, gifted by Cees Broere. It's the edge of the aileron. The plane was hit by friendly ground fire during operation Bodenplatte. The pilot bailed out. Chute did not open and he fell hard on the frozen water. The trim gauge and button are both from a Fw190 left cockpit console. The base was shaped from aluminium. 15
AlanG Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Stunning. Simply stunning What AM did you use for the cooling slat doors? 3

FullArmor Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Only bad thing is that everyone wants to try out that button if anything happens😁 2
Michaelscarborough Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Exemplary and inspirational model building. It's wonderful to pour over the images and take in all the detail. Congratulations Jeroen. 2
Bomber_County Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 That is very very nice. I’ve the Border A6 / A8 in the stash, if that comes out a quarter as nice I’ll be pleased. Congrats absolutely stunning…… 3
GusMac Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 Superb finish as always. I just love the modulation of the paint and the absolute 'flatness' of the flat coat (if that makes sense) 2
John Stambaugh Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 I can see why it took a year to complete. Excellent! 2
joeg Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Fantastic build and a great display that perfectly matches the real thing with ghe model. Worth a years modelling! 1
