BradG Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Considering I'm about the only active member here who builds in 1/72, I don't think it will happen.....unless you wanna give me my own forum? 1

This is the only forum I post at, and I build all different scales. Frankly I don't see a lot of traffic here anymore so it seems like posting anything model related should be welcome. Just my thoughts. 4

I get it. I'm just saying I appreciate all size scale models. And more models to look at would be better. Whatever the reason, we have less showing up. It seems to me. Based on my completely seat of the pants scientific measurements. 1

PanzerWomble Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I'll play ...personally don't like Braille Scale but currently building this to see how insane the PE would be to use .. 1
PanzerWomble Posted September 16 Posted September 16 & also this...... in 1/87...part of 'Womble's wandering in different lands'. so thats a thing too . 2 1
biggtim Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I seem to recall that this has been suggested before, and did not happen because the purpose of the forum is "large-scale" models, not "large" scale models, if that makes sense. In other words, size does not matter, only scale does. Please correct me if my memory is failing. What was I talking about? Tim 1 1
rverissimo Posted Wednesday at 08:48 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:48 PM I'll open two post with my current 1:72 builds... Also works as motivation to finish them ! 3

Tim Yes, but after that, we move on and decided to allow non-LSM, specially Large scale Models ,like an 1:48 B-36, a 1:48 B-29... and 1:72 An-225. All of these are Large Scale Models... not a "large-scale"... But some brands still send us to review their products even if they really don´t "fit" in the full purpose of the forum. 1
KevinM Posted Saturday at 09:14 PM Posted Saturday at 09:14 PM Once I finish the Do-17 moving on to an Eduard W/E edition Fokker Dr1...I have been wandering in the forest of late. 1
JohnB Posted Sunday at 12:41 AM Author Posted Sunday at 12:41 AM Here's what gave me the idea to post this thread. The old Academy/Minicraft 1/72 B-17D "Swoose". I had worked on it off and on for a couple of years and recently decided to go on and finish it. 🙂 2
KevinM Posted Sunday at 12:58 AM Posted Sunday at 12:58 AM Looks great John I got the Revell 1/72 in the stash myself. 2

This "D" and their "C" are the only early B-17 kits around (as far as I know). Koster had a 1/48 conversion but it's hard to find nowadays. I had one at one time but it's disappeared over time. Would have been a bear to build up. 🙄 2
