Flip Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Hi,This is the 'other' project on my table. The WNW SE5a. A full article will appear in 'Art of Modelling' magazine, so I can only show you a few pictures. In the mean time, I finished up the weathering and the top wing is on as well. Now I'm about to start the rigging proces. GrtzFlip 6
Wingco57 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Flip, I am always jealous at the way modellers like you seem to be able to work so clean. Yet so nicely weathered. Really like the way you have done the wingrib tapes. Cees

JonathanReed Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Oh....WOW! I have the Se5 and now know what to aim for! This is so nice in so many ways! Thank You!
Grant Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Wow - That's terrific Flip .... I love what I can see of the cockpit and those "household" type of switches etc. Cees is bang on the mark, the cleanliness of your work is a credit that we can all, well me anyway, strive for!
lawman56 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I love the worn leather look of the headrest and cockpit coaming! Fantastic work!
Flip Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 thanks guys! :-) Here's a picture of the engine. Originally, I wanted to leave the cowling off, but ham fisted as I sometimes can be, I dropped the engine one day, damaging it to the point that I couldn't repair it without masking the damage completely. At least I still have the picture :-) 1
