Thanks Carl. I now have four. My first is several years old now. The huge improvement in quality and design of these engines has sparked

a new interest in them. They are much improved😀

Got this today.....

Back to buying plastic models, I found this Tamiya  Italian Light Tank L6/40 (89783). This is one of those

Italeri/Tamiya "cooperation" kits. Tamiya has added figures and photo-etch and new decals .

Not an easy kit to find, I've been looking for a while to find one of these. I like the looks of this little

tank and I like the unusual suspension configuration. It has link & length tracks but I'll probably use Friulmodel tracks.

Got these today......

First, from ZvezdaRussian Military Van UAZ 3909 (3644) in 1/35.

The kit doesn't look too bad....kind of ICM ish. Pouring over the instructions shows that it has pretty good detail.

I first saw this vehicle on a couple of episodes of Jeremy Wade's  River Monsters of all places. At the time I wondered

if someone made a model of it. Then I discovered this kit. Seriously, I'm not thrilled that it's Made in Russia.... But, there you go. I hope nobody is going to get political about this. I bought it because it is the only 1/35 kit available for this subject.

Anyway, building this Bread loaf looking van will be fun I think.

Next, a set of Friulmodel tracks for the L6/40 Italian tank I bought earlier....
