Paulster Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Don't know why. Box art sells I guess.Awesome looking kit though. Finally an aftermarket modern AFV barrel that's not a kit in itself.

Administrators James H Posted January 25, 2015 Administrators Posted January 25, 2015 Just got back from Bolton IPMS show, and scored one of these. Well, after seeing Dave's kit, I just had to......... 3
Dave J Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Yeap Matt, thats the place to get them... Think mine was around $70ish from memory!
Paulster Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 So…… There I am. At the Winter Fest Expo in San Diego. Nothing s selling. I win the DML 1/35 Elefant. Nice kit but I have absolutely no interest in it. Someone says, "I want to build one of those. Want to trade?" I said……………..
Dave J Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 Nice score Paul! Be very interested to see how that goes together after building the Tamiya kit.. I hear that Tracks are pain in the ass... 5-6 pieces per track?
Paulster Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 The tracks are nightmarish looking. Several sprues about the same size of the box just for the tracks. 1
Dave J Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 I have heard they have/are bring out some one piece tracks that are like the Tamiya ones.
Paulster Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I have heard they have/are bring out some one piece tracks that are like the Tamiya ones. My wallet and I are so there!
Wingco57 Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Today the WNW Felixstowe F 2a early landed at my doorstep. What a fantastic kit. Cheers Cees 1
Dave J Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 So I enjoyed building the Male Mk.IV... Thought I would give another Tamiya Armour a kit ago... So picked Tamiya New Tooled Nashorn up from the Local Store... 3
TeWika Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 That's brutal Dave... it has such a menacing siluett!
wackyracer Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Been looking for one of these for ages... Perfect partner for the Arado 234
Wumm Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Picked this one up locally over the weekend... First new kit in over a year... and it's a beauty too! S 4
Paulster Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Seen a couple of these completed. They build up real nice.
Administrators James H Posted February 9, 2015 Administrators Posted February 9, 2015 Picked this one up locally over the weekend... First new kit in over a year... and it's a beauty too! S A lovely kit. Just watch out for the wing fit though. I thinned the winter joint so the fairing didn't stick out as much. Eduard do a good set for this, and Aires make a nice resin pit.
Wumm Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Thanks for the pointers Jim, Already have the Eduard p/e set meant for the older Hasegawa kit, might see if some of that can be made to fit. So, would we like to see this, or the Fly Natter made next? S
Dave J Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 Got these in the mail this morning for the Nashorn... 3
Dave J Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 I got these from Lucky Model. Think it was around US$22 including shipping to me in NZ
Beychevelle Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Not spectacular, but I love this stuff. I stick small parts on sticks with it, mask camo schemes with it and what more. Hard to get overhere...a local office/book shop always had it, but not anymore... "Can I have some Blu Tack please?""What?""Blu Tack.....""What's that?""Sticky blue stuff....you always had it""New owner...we don't have that and never heard of it""Oh my!" Internet is my friend 1
