I guess i was kinda stoked in a nerdy kind of way Finally finished the model room. Pics later. And managed to slap some paint on the ol' 234. Next step is modulating the grey with some lighter and darker shades. 1

This plane was after it's capture indeed overpainted with a medium grey underside and OD upper. No sigh of the old markings are present. 3

Yellow tipped tail and periscope. Black rear of engines. Guess some colors could have been added later during its testing. This photo shows the beat up appearence of the US captured 234. 1
