This model was my first foray back into aircraft modelling again, and was the second model I'd used an airbrush in anger on. This is still one of my favourites.

The Dora has always been a favorite of mine as well, and you've certainly done a fine job on this one!

Ive seen this in the flesh and its superb, Jerry Crandell has found the 5th JV44 D9 Red 2 on a scrap heap in a blurry photo but you have to buy a £100 book too see it.

Beautiful model James,

 

I've never "warmed" to the Dora, but after seeing this, one is now on my wishlist. By the way where did the resin display base originate from ??
