Partially started projects....

I used to be pretty good at managing one project at a time, possibly two.  Going through the shelves of the "Luftwaffe Modeling Center of Mediocrity" I came up with this tally of partially started kits:

1/32 Trumpeter P-40B

1/32 Revell Bf 109G-10 (Erla)

1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G-10 (with EP Erla conversion)

1/32 Revell Ju 88 (with AIMS G-6 conversion)

1/32 Hasegawa Me 262

1/35 Tamiya Tiger Late Production

1/32 Z-M Kettenkraftrad

I really need to get these finished before starting anything else!  Don't bet on that one though!

I wouldn't sweat it Mike...

I mean, you don't eat the same thing for dinner every night do you? Variety is the spice of life! My list is:

1/32 Zoukei-Mura Ta152H-1

1/32 Hasegawa Fw190D-9

1/32 Hasegawa Fw190A-8

1/32 Hasegawa Bf109 (various x4)

1/32 PCM Macchi C205... and

1/32 Revell Fw190F-8 and

1/32 Hasegawa Fw190F-8

(Building in tandem and thanks to Rog/Artful69)

We'll get there some day!

I had this very same thought after I finish the G-10's, but I've made a non-binding resolution to finish the "shelf of doom" projects!

I try to go back to the Shelf of Doom now and then... I have save a Tamiya Spitfire a while back...

What I know of from the top of my head -

1/32 Trumpeter P-47D

1/32 Hasegawa P-40N

1/32 Hasegawa Fw190 A6

1/48 Academy F-4B

1/32 Z-M Kettenkraftrad

I am sure there is more!

Nothing wrong having several projects at the same time, sometimes you are more inspired to start again on some kit or another.

At least that is what works for me. At some point I have a kit lying around for months or even years, suddenly the urge kicks in and you just want to finish that kit.

Ok. List of Shame.

Tasca Pzkpf II Luchs.

Dragon sdkfz 251(slowly getting stripped for bits lol)

No planes! They give me a guilt trip if I don't finish them.....

Get cracking lads, sounds like there's some nice stuff out there crying to be finished......how about we do a poll on "list of kits/greatest intentions in your stash"??? (Ducking from flying poo)

Regards,

In 1/32 I have the Dragon P51K (yuk) and Revells Spit mk2. In 1/48, Hasegawas typhoon, which is at the paint stage but keeps getting relegated due to other commitments. I have spent a bit of time opening the gun bays and installing the Aries set, so must get to this soon. Doing the Sharkmouth.

I also have a ton of unfinished builds in all scales and of all sorts of subjects.

The WIPs I started on this site:

M4A2 USMC Sherman

M4A4 Sherman V

Tamiya F4U-1 Corsair

Tamiya Spitfire LF Mk. IX

Brewster Buffalo ML-KNIL

HK Gloster Meteor MK.4

Fokker E.III

At least these spring to mind...
