BlrwestSiR Posted Saturday at 10:03 PM Posted Saturday at 10:03 PM Nice work there Paul. Is there an interior on the APC? 1

The basic kit dates back to the late 80's with this version is from 1992. Despite the lack of interior it's not too bad a kit. The tracks are bad however, and needed replacement. Some corrected sprockets came with the track set , but I chose to use the kit's sprockets because they can be rotated. Threading the tracks on would be impossible after assembly If they didn't turn. It was a compromise between accuracy ease of build. Anyway the sprockets are mostly hidden under the fender skirt at the front. Anyway I'm hoping the decals are ok. I have hope that they're fine as they're still in a sealed packet 1

KevinM Posted Sunday at 12:42 AM Posted Sunday at 12:42 AM Progress has been slow but steady lots of sanding old molds/technology.I painted the engines primer, black, polished silver,silver119(panels) pale burnt metal, paneled line with rubber, pale metal(very thin) then burnt iron. The body of the plane has only been primed up top ATTM but is silky smooth after using a worn out 800grit scotch brite. 4

GusMac Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Made a start on the next build, the ZM F4D in 1/48. Got the cockpit done so far with the Quinta detail set and everything fits nicely so far. Hopefully getting the fuselage halves together is as smooth. 4
BlrwestSiR Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago The cockpit looks great there Gus. I have some Quinta sets for the ZM F-4 kits but haven't used any yet. 2

I had no problems closing the fuselage with my ZM Kai-Phantom or other fit probs with my kit. For the cockpit, i used only the supplied decals, as there were no AM sets available for the Japanese bird. For the detailing the seats, I used a set by Kits-World which was terrible. I guess, Quinta is of better quality. Cheers Rob 1
FullArmor Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Working on Kamaz truck. This has to be the most detailed engine I've seen in 1/35 scale😵. And here we don't even have all the pieces in place yet.😃 3
