Fits bang on, the whole segment. I did tried and then passed the project to William. Well minor filling the mating point is necessary, but not much.

Hmmmm. I thought I had a Tamiya tail w/dorsal fin but haven't been able to find it. Bummer! Who was it that was making resin tails?

Looks like the Revell tail has slightly more to it, see the tail wheel opening. Might need a little more to complete it?

I have the well pieces if that's what you mean Smitty. I'll just have to adapt them to the tail.:)

Ya, I have my Revell kit out now. Kinda different how the wheel well is incorporated with the air intake inner workings on the Revell kit.

I'll have to work around that. I'll have to do something with the elevators as the kit ones are fabric covered. I've looked through my P-51 leftovers/spares but all I have are the same.

It might be just plastic....modeling as it is.  Honor in all things.  I certainly appreciate the kindness you guys show and have shown.  Kudos to you all.  Good luck with another sure to be great build John.
