This is another kit I started a while back but put back on the shelf awaiting "inspiration" LOL. So now I am ready to resume the build. It will be mostly OOB except for some Eduard PE cockpit details and FineMolds seat belts. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't lose interest again. Onward and upward as they say!

Funny coincidence isn't it! Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind. Which a/c are you doing? I have decided on the black underside w/bulged bomb bay PC*3.

Me too, I find that one the most interesting....esp with that water heater bomb!

The worst on the sheet is the Russian one.

I also would not try and pull flaps up etc, I ruined my wing try to make it that way.

Yes, they are, as far as I am concerned, a waste.

This will be my second HK Mossie. I built the other kit with the under nacelle air scoops a couple of years ago.

Those flaps look great, I had an awful time with it!

But nothing $140 and free shipping couldn't fix.....sigh.

I really don't recall if I had difficulty with the flaps.

I had to check my build of Grim Reaper to see what I did with the flaps. Definitely down.

Looking forward to your second build of this kit. I hear you on the burn out bit. I had that happen to me as well but on the Tamiya one. Shouldn't have tried building two of them at once.

I have a Tamiya Mk VI ordered and intend to build it when done with this kit. Probably as a night intruder or a night fighter. I'll have to look around for any available night fighter conversions sets.

John, you jumping back in might persuade me to as well.  I was in he middle of a BOAC Mossie, and contracted the dreaded PE burnout, so to the SOD it went as well.

This will be great, might be just what I need to crack on with my Tamiya Trainer conversion or my 24th Airfix one as well....

I guess I'm not the only one with "Mossie Fever" LOL. :)
