BlrwestSiR
I definitely need at least a couple for my kids as they've knocked over a bottle or two of cement. Of course I've knocked over a bottle or two of cement at some point so maybe I should get a few... 1to1scale
I bought one of these a year ago, and I have not spilled any glue since, I love it.
biggtim
Easy to make out of a piece of styrofoam or cardboard for us cheapskates. I use coffee cups to put paint, glue, etc. bottles in while I'm using them, because I'm the clumsiest person EVER. 4
Sir Desmond Glazebrook
I have seen green holders in photos here. Anyone know what they are?
Old Dog
I've never had issues with the Tamiya thin square bottles just the tall thin ones like glues, Alclad and other paints come in. Just take a bottle to the big box store and find a PVC pipe fitting it will fit in then glue it to a base. For the one below I used a piece of acrylic but wood or other material would work. Note: the one in the photo has been around a while, the tape showing was used to snug up the fit so when I pick up the bottle the base comes with it. For some reason the ones I seem to spill most often are Microset and Microsol and the the tall bottles that super glue accelerator come. I tend to leave the caps loose when using them. While their spillage usually doesn't result in damage it can cause a delay if I need to acquire new stock to continue. 4
biggtim
I have been thinking of 3D printing some bottle holders, but they are so simple, I could make them out of wood even cheaper. However, I am apparently too lazy to do either....

I think it's a marketing ploy. Make the bottles tippy so people have to buy them more often.
