Lee Drennen
Back in 1990 when I started my Trucking career I use to see these trucks all the time on the Interstates and the Railroads on Flatcars. I never cared to much for this truck until about 10 years ago when I started taking a closer look at these beasts. Now I’m hooked on them. This is my first “Modern” Millitary Model I’ve built. I bought this off of eBay and it was missing the instructions, shelter building, and the cab top. I now have 5 of these in the stash now if this build goes well I plan on building more. 7

Jeff
Started your career in 1990 ! Geeeeezze now I really feel old, I started in 1977.............. The wheels and tires turned out perfectly, what did you use for the tire paint, and the masking looks like you absolutely nailed not getting anything on the rims too..... do you have a circle cutter? Too bad the military uses those crappy tires, in real life they aren't worth a poop in the mud....................................Absolutely LOVE what you doing here.......
Lee Drennen
Jeff. Thanks for the complement. I actually started drivIng for my dad when I was 18 I wasn’t old enough to go out of state yet. I hand painted the wheels with Tamiya NATO black I never use any mask I’ve always free handed my wheels. Hope to get the bed going next
BlrwestSiR
Looks really good. The tires are especially impressive if you're freehanding them. Carl

Lee Drennen
Worked on the bed last night. I removed the top sides and sand it down and added the tail gate and gave it a test fit now for some paint
