  1. Fascinating to actually see this never mind seeing one built, when I returned to building models I bought anything 1/32 scale that I could find, I heard about this kit and it's strange scale but I never saw one. Cheers Dennis
  2. Great build and great paintwork and weathering, the latter is something that I tend to avoid as I am very bad at it, the early war period aircraft fascinate me and looking at your build if I did not have two kits in the works I would be tempted to build a P-40 myself. Cheers Dennis
  3. It's amazing what the change in colours and markings make, it looks completely different from a 109 in standard Luftwaffe scheme and markings Cheers Dennis
  4. I'll be watching this one with interest, I like Italian WW2 subjects and could not understand why PCM missed the G50 when they were in their Italian phase, so I was over the moon when the SH kit came out, it will be nice to see one built (and educational). Cheers Dennis
  5. That looks great, I love the paintwork and weathering Cheers Dennis
  6. I have had the same experience, great service, fast delivery of new parts, the replacements did not have the crack but both had an oval shaped distortion in the rear of the canopy, I've sent an email off to them. Cheers Dennis
  7. Got an e mail from Airfix yesterday that said that they had put 2 new canopies are in the post, great service. Cheers Dennis
  8. Hi Cees, both of my kits have faulty canopies, both are cracked where the canopy attaches to the sprue and both have a distorted dimple in the back part of the canopy, here's a photo of the crack. The distorted part is a bit more difficult to photograph, but here is an attempt. Cheers Dennis
  9. My PC is running 8.1 and I have not had any problems at all, when I turn on the PC it goes straight to my desktop just like Windows 7, and it behaves itself. Cheers Dennis
  10. This should be interesting I've got one of those in the stash but have not even opened the box lid. Cheers Dennis
  11. Great build, I love those early markings Cheers Dennis
  12. This looks great, the brush painting is so impressive, I nearly bought the Mk II conversion many years ago but when PCM brought out their Hurricane I was anticipating a Hurricane series (stupid boy). Cheers Dennis
  13. Fantastic, no way would I have guessed that it was brush painted. Cheers Dennis
  14. Great job, I really like these kits I had an Italian WW2 thing a couple of years back and built the 21st Century Me 109G and Stuka as Italian aircraft, great kits at bargain prices. Cheers Dennis
  15. Looking good, real fine detailing Cheers Dennis
  16. Fantastic, I love the attention to detail. Cheers Dennis
  17. Great job of one of my favorite kits, I really like the weathering, especially as it is something that I don't do very well ! Cheers Dennis
  18. Got mine yesterday, looks good Cheers Dennis
  19. You certainly done good there Mal, nice one, I'll probably be in the market for some masks in the future then. Cheers Dennis
  20. This is something that I do at least once per year, pick a subject that does not really interest me and build it without worrying too much about accuracy, I did this last year with the Revell He 219. I don't usually build German subjects, have few references for the Luftwaffe and the Revell He 219 is too big for my shelves, so I bought one and built it, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, oh and it was also very cheap ! Cheers Dennis
  21. Great job, I have one of those hiding in the loft, but the rigging always puts me off ! Cheers Dennis
  22. That looks great for a golden oldie, nice job Cheers Dennis
  23. I used Mr Color Thinner, worked a treat. Cheers Dennis
  24. That's looking great, what paint did you use for the undersides ? Cheers Dennis
  25. Nice to see this one again, must get mine out of the loft. Cheers Dennis
