Revell Vintage 1982 1/32 A-1A Skyraider
Spitfire replied to RalphSarc's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Fascinating to actually see this never mind seeing one built, when I returned to building models I bought anything 1/32 scale that I could find, I heard about this kit and it's strange scale but I never saw one. Cheers Dennis -
1:32 Hasegawa P-40 E "Dottie II"
Spitfire replied to rieser's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
Great build and great paintwork and weathering, the latter is something that I tend to avoid as I am very bad at it, the early war period aircraft fascinate me and looking at your build if I did not have two kits in the works I would be tempted to build a P-40 myself. Cheers Dennis -
Special Hobby G.50bis Freccia
Spitfire replied to lawman56's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
I'll be watching this one with interest, I like Italian WW2 subjects and could not understand why PCM missed the G50 when they were in their Italian phase, so I was over the moon when the SH kit came out, it will be nice to see one built (and educational). Cheers Dennis- 12 replies

Spitfire replied to Jacek K's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
That looks great, I love the paintwork and weathering Cheers Dennis -
I have had the same experience, great service, fast delivery of new parts, the replacements did not have the crack but both had an oval shaped distortion in the rear of the canopy, I've sent an email off to them. Cheers Dennis

Got an e mail from Airfix yesterday that said that they had put 2 new canopies are in the post, great service. Cheers Dennis

Hi Cees, both of my kits have faulty canopies, both are cracked where the canopy attaches to the sprue and both have a distorted dimple in the back part of the canopy, here's a photo of the crack. The distorted part is a bit more difficult to photograph, but here is an attempt. Cheers Dennis

Windows update 8.1 copy paste error
Spitfire replied to pfuf's topic in Problems? Suggestions? Tell us!
My PC is running 8.1 and I have not had any problems at all, when I turn on the PC it goes straight to my desktop just like Windows 7, and it behaves itself. Cheers Dennis -

Great job, I really like these kits I had an Italian WW2 thing a couple of years back and built the 21st Century Me 109G and Stuka as Italian aircraft, great kits at bargain prices. Cheers Dennis -

Revell 1/32 Heinkle 219 "Uhu"

Great job of one of my favorite kits, I really like the weathering, especially as it is something that I don't do very well ! Cheers Dennis -
Airfix Model World - June Issue - 1/5/14
Spitfire replied to Dances With Wolves's topic in Tools, Books & Misc.
Got mine yesterday, looks good Cheers Dennis -
This is something that I do at least once per year, pick a subject that does not really interest me and build it without worrying too much about accuracy, I did this last year with the Revell He 219. I don't usually build German subjects, have few references for the Luftwaffe and the Revell He 219 is too big for my shelves, so I bought one and built it, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, oh and it was also very cheap ! Cheers Dennis
