  1. Just read this from the start, great work going on here, years ago I used to build armour as a relaxing break after aircraft builds but a Bronco A13 finished that for me, it's still on the shelf of doom after 8 years. The tracks were the end of my AFV building hobby, I bought the Bronco track set, even tried the AA Crusader Trakpax but gave up in the end. Cheers Dennis
  2. Beautiful job, looks really realistic Cheers Dennis
  3. I must confess to building the odd 1/48 scale kit, I once built a 1/48 scale Westland Whirlwind (Classic Airframes) as I could not get one in 1/32 scale. Now though I can look forward to the SH kit. I have been tempted to build a Defiant as well but resisted. Cheers Dennis
  4. What a great video, pretty amazing engineering, thank you for posting it Cheers Dennis
  5. Spot on, there's something about the late war markings that are really attractive to me and that is just right, as to weathering used but not abused is the way to go for me. Cheers Dennis
  6. They look great, I have been waiting for a 1/32 scale Whirlwind for a long time, maybe a Defiant next ? Cheers Dennis
  7. Great idea, better and faster sounds good. Cheers Dennis
  8. And don't I know it !
  9. My wife is 100% on my side when it comes to models, the purchase of kits and the size of the stash is never an issue. In fact my wife helps me buy kits, normally at Telford I will give her a list of kits that I want and some money and of she goes like a heat seeking missile, I'm sure that her haggling skills are far superior to mine as she always gets the kits cheaper than I could, and she will search on long after I would have given up. This worked really well when one year when I upgraded the stash by selling some kits and replacing them with super dooper Tamiya kits and again at Telford she got the lot for some great prices. Cheers Dennis
  10. Great build and finish, it looks "real" to me just the right amount of weathering, used but not abused. Cheers Dennis
  11. I could be in for one of those, the complete kit is too large for my house but I could manage to display a nose section. Cheers Dennis
  12. All the best wishes Cheers Dennis
  13. What a fine selection of Spitfires Cheers Dennis
  14. That's better and it looks great. Cheers Dennis
  15. All I see apart from one photo is a road sign like a UK "no entry" road sign
  16. Only seeing one photo up there, is there a problem. Cheers Dennis
  17. Great build of a subject that I have never modelled in 1/32 scale, I will have to correct that yours looks great Cheers Dennis
  18. Some great detail painting going on here, looks superb. Solving the fit problem must have been a bit fraught after all that work but it looks like you have it well in hand. Cheers Dennis
  19. This really is looking great, I love the detailing in it, hopefully ZM are on the ball as far as weight is concerned, my Revell kit called for 70g in the fuselage and 25g in each nacelle, so I added 80g in the fuselage and 30g in each nacelle and I ended up with a tail sitter. So I added 38g in the nose wheel bay and that just about cured it. Cheers Dennis
  20. It's great when you meet your soulmate and it works out, sounds like it has for you guys, Congratulations Cheers Dennis
  21. Well done, I admire your dedication and devotion, shame about the social distancing rules spoiling your family celebrations but better safe than sorry. Cheers Dennis
  22. Nice one, I built the Revell version as a fun build OOB and it certainly built into a large and impressive model so I am interested in how this one will turn out, so far you are doing a great job. Cheers Dennis
  23. Nice one, I like the paint job, really well executed Cheers Dennis
  24. Managed to put my name down for one on the Infinity website, will see what happens Cheers Dennis
  25. It's a shame that there isn't a more modern kit available, but you work with what you have not what you would like. This is the kit that got me back into modelling, I used to lust after one especially when there was one in the window of our local newsagent shop that I used to stop at every day coming home from work, but with a wife, two kids, and a mortgage I could not justify another hobby. But when times got better I did start building kits again and this was one of the first that I built. So it will be interesting to watch the progress of your build. Cheers Dennis
