  1. Looks great, Dave, can't wait to get my hand on this one!
  2. Paul, just amazing so far. I see you're putting the same amount of time and effort (dare I say more?) as you did on your Ju 88G-6! Keep up the great work!
  3. Everything looks great, Rick, really nice work so far!
  4. Wow, just off the hook! I think I'd be inclined to more WWI stuff if you guys weren't doing this type of work and giving me a major inferiority complex! I'll just go back in the corners and play with my 109's....
  5. Some cool schwag here: http://www.volksusa.com/super-wing-series-no-06-he-219-a-0-uhu.html
  6. LOL! Sorry, Grant, I was just assuming you don't stock those old '60's and '70's vintage beasties!
  7. Dave, I've got a set of Tiger Wings decals already, the markings on the sheet are all for N-1's (although it wouldn't be the first time a decal manufacturer got something wrong). I'll do a comparison of that sheet you posted and mine though. And, YES, I could use an "M" in the stash if you can get your hands on one for a reasonable price!
  8. Since we're discussing 1/32 exclusively now....I'll withold Tamiya and (newer) Hasegawa, although I get them relatively cheap here I realize not everyone does 1. Spits: The Hobby Boss is a nice kit and can be found for a decent price. Older Revell and Hasegawa kits can be found cheap on ebay although they probably won't be shake and bake. 2. 109's: I've picked up some Trumpeter 109's on sale in the mid $20 range. If you're not interested in accuracy these maye be your best bet. Fit is pretty good and they look pretty good built up but have way too many things wrong to be taken as a serious 109. You can usually pick up the Eduard Emil's for a decent price too, although some care is required during assembly they go together pretty well and are far superior to the Trumpeter Emil for about the same price. 3. 190's: Nothing good cheap, older Hasegawa is about your only bet. The new tool kits are great though.
  9. I agree with Dave here. The Dragon P-51 really isn't all that bad. I've seen them on sale for as low as $30 and looks pretty good when built up.
  10. I want to do a P-40N-1 from Assam, with the skull on the front of the cowl. The 1/32 Hasegawa P-40N is a later block model with the aft part of the canopy squared off. Would their 1/32 P-40M be appropriate to use for this? It has the correct style canopy but I'm not sure if there were any other significant differences between the M and the N. Next problem is the P-40M is no longer readily available is converting an "E" model to an "N-1" feasible? Thanks! Mike
  11. Mother Nature! Still haven't got the indoor lighting thing completely figured so I've always taken my photos of completed builds outdoors.
  12. The "Modelling Discussion" sub-forum will now be dedicated to general modelling discussion. Airbrush recommendations, what type of glue you prefer, what's your favorite decal solvent, etc. are all examples of topics appropriate to post here. Aircraft and armor now have their own sub-forums to discuss those types of kits as well as topics relating to their real life counterparts so please make those types of posts in their appropriate forums. Your cooperation is appreciated! Mike
  13. Thanks, Mike. The grass mat is from a company called Silfor, it's a little pricey but really looks the part.
  14. Now this kicks butt! Great finish on one you don't see built too often, love it!
