  1. Carl, can you make a pair of glass doors to fit? I’m gonna look at IKEA as well. Maybe something out there?
  2. Especially those microscopic 1/48 engines. Great work, though!
  3. Yep, good true O Scale models that aren't more toys than scale models are as rare as rocking horse poop. 1/87 (HO) seems to be the size where the true Scale Modelers gravitate to. 1/160 (N) also is gaining traction, but thanks to Lionel and other tinplate manufacturers who crowded O Gauge over the years, it's never really been where the true scale modelers seem to land. Heck, just like the big "G" scale Geezer Gauge, they couldn't even agree on an actual NMRA standard size.
  4. Possibly some good news here. It seems they’re making good on all outstanding orders. They are apparently being shipped Fedex, no extra charge. Still no change with the website, but this is a bit of good news as NZ gets back to normal.
  5. Ron, you are, and always have been, in my thoughts and Prayers. We all love ya, man, and know you’ll pull through as CC Mk. 1a. Blessings, man!
  6. Truly amazing work! Please Sir, can I have some more? - Oliver Twist
  7. That Albatros is easily the nicest example I've ever seen. I actually thought I was looking at a TVAL 1:1 reproduction!!
  8. Very nice job!! The “touch” needed to do armor just escapes me.
  9. Rob, the gunports are laser cut, yes. Also, the marks for the gun tackle are there as well, along with markings for the top of the main wale. I cant even imagine the time savings that will give. And the main deck is laser etched as well. I’m not sure how much I like that, although because it’s my first build, I’ll just run with it this time. The windlass drum and guns are nice resin castings as well. Very nice!
  10. Hubert, that’s brilliant. I’m certainly struggling with the planking, but I’m learning as I go. My little travel iron is working wonders, and I’ve rigged up a little jig like Chuck uses on MSW, and so far it’s working out. There’s a few decent Speedy/Flirt builds over there, and although or two got borked in a grand fashion, most are looking decent. I CAN and WILL do this.
  11. Build away, Lee. I'm building a wooden sailing ship in non LSM, and there's plenty of 1/48, and even some sci-fi being built as well. Everything is welcome.
  12. Hey folks, I have a Revell and some Hasegawa canopies as well, and they don't fit. And the short nose early hood is the flay hood with no bulge, so they wouldn't work anyway. I emailed Kitlinx yesterday, so here's hoping....
  13. That Tamiya Mossie looks like a mojo killer. I can testify! The B-36 is the same way. Chore after chore after chore after chore. It gets old, fast.
  14. It looks great, man! Beautiful work, and for amkit that’s collected it’s fair share of internet poo, it sure looks like a P-51B from here...
  15. Beautiful Mustang, Kevin! Stunning work, actually. Welcome to LSM, I think you’ll find some familiar faces here and a nice, easygoing atmosphere. That F-16 will be great when done, I’m all hung ho for nPolish bird if I ever get caught up on everything else. There’s no shame in off scale builds here. Most folks here also dabble in the other scales. And other than myself, almost everyone is either big into, or at least dabbles in armor.
  16. We need more P-40s. And P-39s. And Hurricanes, and Brewster Buffalos. Stuff we don’t see built all that much...
  17. Beautiful build on a tough kit, Phil! Bloody brilliant, that. We’re not worthy!
  18. So here I am, building my A-3, and when I see this, immediately Monty Python pops into my mind.... ”you got a very big nose....”
  19. I got a speeding ticket in one of those Cadillacs. 72 mph. Down a BIG hill, with a tailwind. Oh, and never reverse in high range. The transmission would often break.
  20. Yep. I shall. I’m trying to locate all the parts. So far I have found them all except for the completed seat (no biggie), and the clear Sprue (big biggie). I don’t want to rob a spare kit, so I’m on a mission. It’s probably in the same place as those Canadair Tutor resin cockpits.
  21. Martin, these look like Canadian M135 Jimmys... Those were our issued Deuces when I was in. At least for the first half...
  22. Awesome work, Lee. I got bogged down on a simple White 6 ton 6x6 build. Just can’t seem to get motivated. I’ll be watching this one develop
  23. Yeah, I’ve got many irons in the fire. P-47 within two weekends of complete, B-36 in the middle of a build, Fw 190 A-3, HMS Speedy
