  1. Go for it, y’all. I’ll watch and cheer y’all on.
  2. Carl, I smell a Tempest in your future....
  3. I’ve never managed to complete but one 190 and it wasn’t even a real 190... All others ended with n dismal failure on the SOD. Just couldn’t get enthused.
  4. My next one I’m thinking of sheeting over it like some Soviet units did.
  5. Ooooh, looking awesome, Alan. That’s a great kit you have there and you’re gonna turn it into pure gold.
  6. Lutz, this is phenomenal work, and what a way to start your life here with friends on LSM! Your A6M is looking truly amazing!
  7. A bunch of years ago, a buddy of mine and I saw another buddy of ours sleeping over the steering wheel of his cabover. He, not me, got the bright idea go play a trick on him and jack his cab. So he did whatever he did and over went the cab, with him in it. He started cussing a blue streak and we were laughing like drunk fools. Until his TV came crashing through the right side windshield. It actually popped the glass right out. His cussing got even louder, we got caught red handed. Yep, we paid for the TV AND the new windshield. Almost got our heads beat in, too.....
  8. Was working on this on and off over the years. I love a short nose early Würger, and the PCM kit is might challenging. As everyone knows, this kit’ll fight you every single step of the way, and I’m ready for some fun. Now that I receive my A-3 props from Henri, maybe now is the time
  9. Yep, I just rank him up via email and asked if he could do me a list. 6 weeks later, here we are.
  10. Thanks Jeff. I just can't bring myself to build a Luftwaffe aircraft without one of Henri's propellers. His stuff is amazing, and EXACT scale.
  11. I FINALLY placed one big order with Henri Daene for all the German stuff I can see myself doing for a long time. Then realized I forgot the 110G. We should be good to go for all my German kits. 12. Yeah I kinda went crazy back then. But it was fun showing a clean set of heels to the kid tuners with their fancy late model Vespas. I'd go to the Weir's Beach rally in Laconia, NH every year. I'd ride my Harley on Wednesday, come back on my Vespa for Thusrsay, then ride in on the old '47 Chief for Friday and Saturday. Out of all three, the Indian Chief is the one that usually made me walk. My right leg was much better developed than my left one. Starting that thing on a hot day was adventurous.
  13. Bertl, I've ridden Harleys and Indians my entire life. Most of them were pretty tame bikes when it came to raw performance, but what I lost in speed, I gained in style and sex appeal. The only crazy time for me was after my divorce. I went crazy for awhile and bought a Vespa 200cc scooter. I took it completely apart in the living room of my apartment and hot rodded the thing with a tuned pipe, different carbs, different gears, and shaved the head for more compression. Back then after the divorce I had a death wish, so I rode like a fool. I actually got a speeding ticket on the Massachusetts Turnpike for doing 90 mph. On a 200cc Vespa. I'm lucky to still be alive.
  14. Yep, we need more WIPs I'll update my racer tonight
  15. Many previous members here are coming back and chilling out here, which is nice. It’d be awesome to see some more.
  16. Welcome, Alan! Good to see you here, and I guarantee you there are one or two very serious 190 experts here on LSM who can steer you right. I’m looking forward to seeing some of your fabulous builds.
  17. Keeping this place free from spambot riff raff is a full time + endeavor, and having things reported promptly really helps. I can’t always be here, yes, I have a day job that feeds my wife and keeps her happy, so any little leg up helps. The one today was reported by no less than three members.. Again, Thanks!!!
  18. Started like as a failed attempt to toast a hamburger bun on a charcoal grille. I am NOT a cook.
