  1. Amazing detail as always, Jeroen. Your builds are just incredibly stunning. Watching a masterpiece take shape is truly an honour
  2. Oh good GRIEF! Mark, I feel for you, my friend. My wife had the same thing with the big Corporation she's been with for 35 years. 6 years ago they say everyone's job was being transferred to Austin, so they all sold their homes, bought new ones there, and moved to Austin. A year later, they decide to close the Austin location and move them all to Bloomington, Il, to be at Corporate HQ, but they'd need to reapply for their current positions. A few didn't get picked up so they end up taking laterals into anything that provides a paycheck. THEN, after another year they decide to move the Department back to Dallas. So now, 800 employees move back to Dallas but now they have no home, (they sold them, remember?), and are faced with buying a house in a red hot real estate market for 2-3 times what they sold their old one for. Such is Corporate America these days. Joy, because she's got a disability, (Lupus), with all it's associated health concerns, works from home and was able to miss all the musical cities stuff. But this kind of garbage y'all go through gets me incredibly cynical Mark, and all I can say is try for ADA. It helped us when we needed it most.
  3. I’m really looking forward to the special Lanc stuff. I’ll be giving HK and WNW a lot of money so I can build a few different examples of my favorite WW2 heavy.
  4. You guys are lucky. I still have the same issue. Yes, call it the B-36 conundrum. Too big of aircraft, too small hangar space.
  5. One look at me shows that I certainly don’t mind food.
  6. We definitely have a western themed country look in our home. My wife is 100% in charge of that, and she’s a born and raised country girl. Our house isn’t big by US standards either, but is comfortable for the two of us and the occasional guests. Thanks for the ideas. I’ll look into it here. I know there’s plenty of people who have B-17s and such in cases, so I thought maybe there was something out there.
  7. Har har har. This WAS an actual serious question. I find nothing when doing a search.
  8. Ok, answered my own question. In stock at Sprue Brothers. Two ordered because of this review.
  9. Are these available yet? I can think of a hundred uses around German aircraft for these little cars. What a great kit! I’ve never seen the Revell kit, saw an ICM one built and it was interesting to say the least.
  10. i don’t think they make a commercial enclosure that will handle the B-36. WHAT was I thinking?!?!
  11. Great review Jeroen! I’ll be getting one of these yummy little numbers
  12. Hey folks, I'm looking for some feedback and/or direction. The point being, I lack a decent display case. My goals are: At least 24" DEEP to accommodate the big stuff. 36-48" WIDE for those big wings, and I'd say 72" or even a bit more HIGH. I'd love to know what y'all did. I'll probably look for one or two now, and maybe more down the line. Ideas?
  13. Good to know! Thanks. Was actually a real question too.
  14. The bottle on the top is a cool touch. Just curiosity, but are Maple trees common in that area?
  15. The north country is littered with the hulks of Junkers, Fokkers, Fairchilds, and Norsemen. DHCs used to be as well, but Otters and Beavers are worth their weight in gold and are all hauled out for rebuilding.
  16. Peter, again, I’m mumbling to myself, my friend. I need to be in Telford for this one...
  17. And I thought I personified the term “backwoods country redneck”. Cat, your Dad was so obviously WAAAY cooler on his worst day than I am on my best. That story is now legend.
  18. 3D printing would be awesome! Tony, I like that idea. I’m a go for one with a wicker basket on top, elephant style and a 1/72 scale dude with twin 50s on a swivel mount.
