  1. Excelllent detail work and superb paint job, fantastic.
  2. Anyway I managed only a little work last few days due to SWMBO deciding to come home and interfere with my glueing time!! Started on the baskets Will have a full day on sat. so will post another update, Thanks.
  3. AH no pressure then!
  4. Thanks Erik, I agree it has always been the habit to matt them down but when you see pics. such as those from the Crimea, the vehicles are satin looking in their finish, sure enough as the layers of grime and dust accumulate they start to look matt, so I gave it several washes on top of the usual gloss coat and it brought the finish down to this satin look.
  5. Thanks guys, I really like Trumpeters newer kits especially the Russian stuff and have a few in my stash.
  6. Looking forward to seeing this when it is done.

  9. Really glad to see one of these being built, lots of rivet counting over this model yet what beast when it is finished, enjoying this and impressive detail work.
  10. So I have never done a WIP. but since I have got my mojo back, I have a few to get finished, so if it is ok I will do a kind WIP, this is Trumpys Lav3 that I will be finishing white UN markings, the hull is mostly complete, so into the turret next up will be the baskets, never my favourite part, LOL.
  11. I just gotta say that I enjoy this forum and it is a fact that armour will always be behind in popularity, personally I just accept it and get on with my vehicles, though I do have a stash of 1/48 aircraft that I intend to build sometime, wingy things have defeated me so far but I have to accept that I have been out of the circuit for a while [lost my mojo] but I agree if we can keep it light hearted and swop banter as well as ask questions as well it will become more enjoyable and will build slowly but surely, we armour modellers just need to keep making the effort.
  12. Love this, the wood finish and weathering look great.
  13. A great looking Centurion, very nice.
  14. Not been very active on the model front for a while but sat down and put this one together, it is Trumpeters 1/35 scale and was a great kit do build, Thanks for looking.
  15. Looks good to me, I haven't managed to finish a wingy thing yet though several have travelled to the bin! so you are way ahead of me, Steve.
