Thanks Brad, some great models really liked the Meteor.

Thanks guys, tedious is the word here though in truth it is worth it, my photo etch work is not as neat as the Tiran but it is sometimes difficult with so much not give in and play with something else.

Yeah I can go with that thought.

Would be good to see a better attempt than the Dragon one.

The hull is now finished and started on the turret, not sure what I think of the soft plastic rubber for the gun mantlet, enjoying this even though there is a fair bit of tedious building involved, [[[/url] More to come.

I always got 2/6 off my father every SAT. then shot off up to the local newsagent for a bagged Airfix kit must have done them all, my brother, cousin and myself being given a model plane each from my uncle who had them painted and hanging from his bedroom ceiling and then we destroyed them with an air pistol, boy was he peed off with us, a rainy week in Torbay in a caravan with my friend and his brother bought a pile of Airfix 1/600 warships, built them in two days and then fighting naval battles on the floor while it poured down.

I like the way this is coming out and I agree with you there is something about dragging something off the bin pile and finishing it and they always seem to come out great and leaving you wondering why they were in that pile in the first place, great work. -
Hooray, finally got some progress on the beast, lots of small fiddly parts but worth it, will be able to get some more done tomorrow, paint work on the tracks needs finishing, have to say I deviated from the sequence in the instructions quite a bit.
