We have a pod of killer whales that are in dire need of 'protecting' , we can't fish any more, because they eat fish, we can't run a boat any where near them, because that scares them and the fish they eat, we can't make any noise around them........ah ............ because......................... all ships have to slow down and lower rpm .................................because................................................ GEEZ................. did anyone ask them IF they wanted ALL this protection and who protected them BEFORE we got here??? sorry, again , I couldn't resist......

A buddy of mine and me flew on THIS Beaver after a full on all you can eat Crab Feast in Ketchikan Alaska............... awesome feast and yes beer too, and a fabulous flight over the mountains and landing on the water back in town......

I almost missed him, he was ripping along, this Super Cub just took off from the China River near Fairbanks Alaska, this was a hard pic to take...

This is a QCA Norseman, Queen Charlote Airlines flew on the west coast of British Columbia and a REAL good book was written about that adventure called An Accidental Airline available here http://www.harbourpublishing.com/title/TheAccidentalAirline worth every penny and lucky it's still available, I have bought from these guys and they are excellent, if anyone is interested.............

CF-OBS flew for the Ontario Government, those tanks on the side of the floats were used for 'fire bombing'............... not much but better than nothing

You are most probably correct, BUT here in British Columbia, we have been suffering from rising gas prices LONG before Donny decided to do that.............road taxes and carbon tax.................... and for the record, I really wouldn't mind 'so' much about all the taxes we pay, I JUST WISH these 'Politicians' would be a little MORE fiscally RESPONSIBLE in the way they piss the money away........................................ just sayin....

Didn't Carl Ben Eileson barn storm in the lower 48 with a DH 4 prior to him going to Alaska? I seem to remember reading about him as a young boy in elementary school..... I think the book was called Alaska Bush Pilot................ and I saw some of his relics in the air museum in Fairbanks a few years ago................that was really cool....
