LSM Modelling News 2023 merged Fran and Artful69’s threads

It's weird, because I was thinking, as I was looking at the Tamiya 1/35 kit this past week, that a big-scale kit of the subject would be cool...then it happened! Anyway, not sure if I'll get it right away as I have enough kits as it is...but cool! More wheeled subjects please! I really like Copper State Models emphasis on armored cars....especially WW 1 subjects, and I would like to see these in larger scales. I've had little time to devote to building My kits due to health problems and added responsibilities lately, but I do enjoy collecting kits and what I call a "golden age" of large scale kit availability. I hope I can present a finished build soon. -

Andy ,of Andy's Hobby Headquarters, has announced A 1/16 M8 Greyhound! Definitely on my list. -
Yes, it sure has! I plan to get the big Das Werk 1/16 Puma when it comes out . I've been stalled on my big Sherman build for a week now, but I'll get back to it this weekend.

Ordered from Scalehobbyist this came today; In 1/16 its Trumpeter's T34/76 model 1943 (00903). Scalehobbyist has these for sale at a better price than most online sites that I've seen.

Nice. I have a couple of Lee kits by Takom including the cast upper hull variant. Like I've said before..a big scale kit, for me, would be great! -

I remember, years ago, trying to build the old Monogram kit of this plane...never did finish it. Glad to see your build here...One to watch, you're doing great so far! -

Nice haul! I know what you mean about the stash. I see you got a Fisher Cutlas! Where did you find that? I thought Fisher was out of business. That Cutlas was an odd-looking aircraft....cool to see it built.

Today came a big one; From Andy's Hobby Headquarters came his British Achilles M10 IIc Tank Destroyer (AHHQOO7) in 1/16. I'm working on his big Sherman presently.. and believe me, these 1/16 things are big. Anyway, a cooler version of the M10 this thing will be a fun build!

No! Not at all. The M3s were lovely in their awkwardness. I'd love to see a big 1/16 scale version!....Imagine, all those lovely rivets!....Well, one can only hope. But then,...I'm still waiting..for a big-scale Brewster Buffalo! -

O.k.....I have to admit, I had to Google Merkin. It's a subject... That..I didn't know much about. Being a marine mammal...a cetacean.. I must admit I never knew such a product existed . As we, for the most part, are completely hairless. Well, to each his own, perhaps useful in some cases. Still, perplexing.. -
Yes, I have the regular Takom M29 kit .....bought it a while back. I can't seem to find the amphibian M29 in stock anywhere..... Where did you get yours?
