  1. Today I decided to apply the invasion stripes under the wings before attaching them to the fuselage. Easier to handle, etc. I'll apply the under fuselage one's later today. (I don't usually use acrylics but those Mr. Color paints I used for the stripes sure did behave well. I think I will begin to use them more in future. I was a bit disappointed in the MM acrylics.)
  2. Thanks. You would be glad you did!
  3. You are too kind! LOL🙄
  4. Thank you Peter. This is such a EASY kit to build it just doesn't demand a lot of time to "adjust" something, etc. Nearly a shake and bake! LOL
  5. Thanks Kevin.
  6. Making good progress. Just about ready to attach the wings.
  7. I added some strip plastic to the cowl interior for a bit more detail.
  8. Thanks Peter. As far as I can tell the decals are the "old" style.
  9. Thank you Carl. This kit is such a easy build it should go fairly fast. Everything FITS!
  10. Thanks Gaz. All of it is OOB.
  11. I agree Kevin. They have always been TWO of my favorite things. 🤪
  12. This one has been on the shelf looking back at me for a while so I've decided to go on and build it. This is the "Dottie Mae" kit with all the Eduard after market included in the box. I really wanted to do "Tallahassee Lassie" but haven't been able to find any decals for the nose art so I have settled on a similar one that is included in the kit "Pilots Dream IV". I intend to build it OOB using the Eduard stuff that comes in the kit. Should make a nice looking Jug.
  13. Well done Rob!!! Outstanding work.
  14. Outfrigginstanding Gaz!!!! Very nicely done. 🖕
  15. Looks really good. I'm afraid to ask what the price is! 🙄
  16. So me using the plastic flaps on my build detracts from the "detail". They look just fine to me Ernie. 😐
  17. Thanks Phil. I like the overall "look". Very appealing I think.
  18. Thanks Peter. Turned out it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. LOL Now I can finish it.
  19. Thank you Brad.
  20. This one has been sitting idle since early November while I was waiting for some masks for the fuselage stripes. Well, despite assurences the masks were "in the mail" I never received them even though he said he sent them twice. Who knows, maybe they will show up some day but I got tired of waiting and decided just to do it myself. Turned out it wasn't as difficult as I had expected. Now I can go on and resume the build and finish the model.
  21. Thanks Harv. I'm pleased that you like it.
  22. LOL Thank you Scott. I'm glad you like it! Good luck finding one!
  23. Thank you Kevin. It really isn't one of my favorites either but I figured since I already had the kit I should go on and build it.
