  1. Yes, eclipsed by the jets. I think they built something like 10 or 12 and only 1 survives today. No Gaz, I wasn't in the Navy.
  2. A bit ugly from some angles but still a interesting bird. I plan to do it in nmf with the wings folded.
  3. They give us two styles of seats. The frame for the second seat is very delicate and obviously it will be easy to break when cleaning out the flash.
  4. Thanks Ernie! I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
  5. This looks to be a interesting kit to build. 1/48 and comes with PE and clear acetate parts. I plan to do the silver scheme. Stay tuned!
  6. Thanks Gaz. I agree that it's nice to see something a bit different. Might do a Corsair too later on.
  7. Thank you Peter. They just keep coming....and that's a good thing LOL!
  8. Thank you Rob. Those decals are really nice but very thin and delicate. Be very careful when you use them.
  9. Thanks Jeff! I'm pleased you like the results of my efforts.
  10. Thanks Ernie! It's good to do something a little different from time to time. By the way, I've done their TBM.
  11. It will for sure Peter. It's saved plenty of my decals!
  12. Peter I've found that if I find there's going to be a problem like this I'll just brush the remaining decals with Micro Scale Liquid Decal Film. It drys fast and keeps those troublesome little mothers from shattering or cracking. Of course it won't help with whichever one(s) that have cracked or shattered already. 🙄 John
  13. Looking good so far! Those Japanese sure had some good looking ships.
  14. Thanks Dennis. It's one of their better kits for sure. No real problems at all.
  15. Thank you Phil. I'm waiting for decals for the Trumpeter F4U-4 to show up so I can finish that build. Seems like I'm always waiting for decals. LOL
  16. Thanks Peter. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. A little different from the "usual" LOL.
  17. Done with this one. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/17404-trumpeter-sbd-5-finished/
