Been steadily working on this today. Fit leaves something to be desired but, if you are patient (which I am NOT), it'll finally all go together. I haven't done the radar operators seat yet as I need a set of belts. I'll scrounge around and see what I have, etc. Those are kit decals on the instrument panel. Turned out better than I expected. -

It'll be a bit different for sure. -
This kit has been in my stash for a good while so I guess it's time to build it. I plan to do a a/c that was captured at the end of the war and test flown by a unit called "Watson's Whizzers". Good info on this in the book "American Raiders". The pilots nick named the a/c "Old Fruitcake" LOL. I'll use some Xtradecals for the markings but I don't think I'll weather the heck out of it as seen in some photos. Some weathering yes but not too much. Stay tuned.

I'm calling this one done. A nice Hasegawa kit and some really nice Thundercals decals make a good combination. OOB build except for FineMolds belts. Painted with Alclad aluminum exterior and Dull Dk. Green interior. These two builds go together well I think! I hope y'all do too. Click on 1st photo, etc, etc. -

Finished and RFI. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/20149-tamiya-spitfire-mk-ix-rfi/ -
Another build finished and ready for inspection. I've always liked the look of the Mk IX's in this scheme and decided it was time to do one. After market stuff is the cockpit door (Barracudacast), exhausts (Quick Boost), and wheels (Eduard). Painted with Xtracolor, Colourcoats and Testor's MM. Decals are all from the kit. A very enjoyable build and I hope you like it! PLEASE remember to click on the 1st photo for best resolution and to view as a slide show. It makes a BIG difference! THANKS!

That jig setup looks to be a great tool and I figure everything on the Cutlass will be "right". I look forward to seeing the finished bird!

Just about done decaling. I'll do a little touchup then overspray with some clear flat. Then I'll get the exhausts done and a bit of weathering. Waiting on some resin 4-spoke wheels from Scale Hobbyist to show up hopefully in a day or two. -

That might work well Kevin. I did some perusing of photos of NMF Jugs before I did the last one and decided there just didn't seem to be a lot of that. At least not in the photos I looked at. Certainly not like on P-51's. We'll see, I might decide to do a little something.
