It fits a little better than the kit nose. Should look okay after I smooth in the underside. 🙂
-
Resin nose attached. Not too bad fit except for the underside where there is a "step". I'll putty and sand this area and try to blend it in. Shouldn't be too difficult. 🙂
-
Thanks. I think it looks better too but I'll have to see about fit......
-
Fingers crossed on that nose Kevin.🙃

Progress so far. Fit could be better. I have the kit nose and a resin Cutting Edge nose. At this point I think I'll go with the resin nose as it looks a bit better.

Thanks Carl. I'm glad you got some good useful info. 🙂

It's always something Kevin. I have about quit forking out extra $$ for "expedited delivery" as it doesn't arrive any sooner than regular delivery. Good luck!🙃
-
It'll be a real eye catcher whether in NMF or camo. 🙂
-
Thanks Chris. So far it's coming along okay but all those little bitty parts are hard to work with! LOL 🙂

Thanks Peter. The IP is PE. Really nice looking so I had to use it instead of painting the plastic one provided. I've been working on the rest of the cockpit and am darn near cross-eyed now!!! 😄

Some really small stuff for these old eyes! Thanks.

Since I don't have a '110 night fighter in my built up collection I decided to get started on this kit that I have had for a good while. There are MANY very small fiddly bits to use so I have my fingers crossed the carpet monster doesn't get any of them. I finished the pilot's cockpit last night and now will start on the rest of the innards. The belts by the way are FineMolds.

Since the "twin" GB is done maybe a "sand box" GB could be next. Works for me. -

Thanks Kevin! You are referring to a Bf-109F kit, yes? -

Thank you Chris. I'm pleased that you like it. Get yourself a set of AIMS decals for late war '109's. There are some really nice ones there. 🙂 -

All done with this one. After market items were FineMolds belts and Barracuda spinner and blades. Painted with Floquil, Xtracolor, Testors, and Precision. Decals are from AIMS Decals. I hope you like it! 🙂 -
Lots of progress over the weekend. This AM I applied the 2 top colors, RLM 74/75, using Xtracolor. I still need to add some more mottling on the fuselage. The 75 is already on there so next I'll do the 74. Undersides, etc are already painted RLM 76. The red/yellow stripes are Xtracolor for the yellow and White Ensign Colourcoats for the red.

I'm considering that Peter. I really don't want to go to all that trouble so, at least for now, I'll keep both as is.
