  1. The white undersides, etc are done. The Intermediate Blue is next then the Sea Blue.
  2. LOL Dennis. I just like to keep something, or some things, going. Helps me to stay at least partly sane! 🤪
  3. The primed Spitfire looks very good! I look forward to seeing it in camo.
  4. Thank you Peter. It's nice to learn something new! Can come in handy.
  5. Thank you Carl. I'm pretty sure the tail hook was removed as most land based Corsairs had that done. I will leave off the tail hook on this build.
  6. Some more progress. I'll close up the engine later on.
  7. Thanks Kevin. My mind needs LOTS of clearing! 🙃
  8. I know what you mean except keeping busy building helps me to keep my mind off "things". 🙄
  9. Thanks Peter. I did that correction on all my Corsair builds but just never mentioned it.
  10. Rear cockpit bulkhead and seat installed. You might notice the info printed under the head rest is black, not red as supplied on the Tamiya decal sheet. I just re-printed them in black using my laser printer. I've never seen any red one's in color photos, just black. Not saying there never were any red ones, I just never have seen anything but black.
  11. Thanks Carl. Agreed, they should add a little something to it.
  12. Good progress on the cockpit this morning. Coming right along.
  13. Time for another Corsair build. This colorized photo decided me on this build. Ought to look pretty neat!
  14. Thanks! It's not totally non-military, just now OUR military LOL.
  15. Agreed Carl. I'll still work on the P-51B off and on while working on the Corsair.
  16. I'm gonna back burner this for the moment as a Tamiya F4U-1A kit was just delivered and I want to get started on it. Great service as it only took 5 days via FedEx to reach me! And the shipping was free. My TOTAL cost, including tax, was $127.00. Shipping HAD to be something like 30 or 40 dollars. What a deal! At any rate, this is the a/c I'm planning to do.
  17. I've been working off and on on my 2nd P-51B conversion. I'm using the Trumpeter "B" I did as the racer "The Houstonian" and a nose off of a OLD Monogram P-51D kit. Fit isn't all that close but with some work I think it can be sorted out okay. I plan to do some sanding down of the panel lines on the nose as they are a bit heavy plus it needs some more puttying and sanding where it mates to the Trumpeter model. "Bald Eagle" will be the subject. I got the needed decals from Draw Decals which are for a modern airshow "D" but will do okay for this conversion (I THINK) LOL. Stay tuned sports fans and athletic supporters!!!
  18. LOL Peter. My models seem to be like rabbits!! LOL
