  1. Thanks for the input guys. I was hoping they weren't in China though.
  2. Thanks, I appreciate that. I'm considering using them to get the new Rye Field Pz Mk IV kit as they have a very good price on it. By the way, where are they located?
  3. Thanks Hubert, I appreciate the feedback.
  4. Have any of you used them? They seem to have some great prices but until I learn a little more about them I will hold off ordering anything. Thanks in advance!
  5. I decided to take inventory of my built Tamiya Corsairs in 1/32. F4U-1 Birdcage ------- 6 (Not including the one I'm building now.) F4U-1A --------------- 3 F4U-1D --------------- 3 Plus 3 more in my stash (1 of each). LOL Also, 1 Trumpeter -1D built. Obviously I really like the Birdcage.
  6. Lotsa weathering there.
  7. I've never used any HGW decals before. It looks like you have to use a lot of care going by the instructions. We will see!
  8. LOL! Well get with the program!
  9. I use a custom mix. RLM 23 red with some white and small amount of yellow added. All Model Master.
  10. Yes indeed! LOL Right now I'm planning on this one. The decals are from HGW and are "wet transfers".
  11. Love those Tamiya Corsair kits. LOL
  12. Maybe so Smitty but I would know. No fun in doing that.
  13. Since I'm burned out right now on the Mossie I think it's time for another Corsair (my standby for the burnout cure). In keeping with my usual build process, I have begun painting most of the interior, wheels, canopy, etc. All that will be done and ready when I get to that portion of the build.
  14. That's a nice kit Carl and a easy build. I look forward to seeing the final result.
  15. Time to set it aside for a bit. I'm burned out on it for now so I'll go on to something else (Tamiya F4U-1 birdcage to be exact. My old standby for the burn out cure! LOL).
  16. Thanks Carl. It's a heck of a nice kit. Outstanding Tamiya detail and fit through out. However, I will be glad to get it finished and go on to something else that won't be quite as involved.
  17. 3 months so far. It will probably be at least 4 or more before completion. That's a long time for me to be on one build! LOL
  18. Progress as of today. I still have to get the gun/bomb bay done. It won't much longer until I can over spray with a primer.
  19. It's about time for something "new" in 1/32 from them.
  20. I look forward to seeing the completed build Carl. Painting road wheels isn't my cup of tea either.
  21. It's nearly all needed Ernie. If you choose to close up the engines that will negate the need for some of those engine parts.
  22. Yep! Too big a price, very complex, and too big a model LOL. (and too high a cuss-factor sometimes!)
