  1. It will make a very nice model but I doubt I'll purchase another.
  2. Yes Ernie, this kit has a LOT of stuff in it. A outstanding kit but very fiddly at times which tends to take away from the enjoyment. I'm glad I decided to stay with it but I will also be glad to get it finished.
  3. Thanks. I have decided to stay with the Mosquito. Too far along on the build to set it aside.
  4. That's something I'm considering. For the moment I'm still working on the Mosquito.
  5. Well heck! I'm "on the fence" here. Trying to get my arse in gear and MAKE A DECISION. Stay with the Mosquito or put it aside for a bit and start something else?
  6. It's coming along well but I need a break. Another Corsiar maybe! LOL
  7. Status as of today. I'm considering putting this one aside for a bit (NOT SOD) as I'm a little burned out on it at the moment. I'll get back to it soon.
  8. Quite often I'll buy a kit because it's new and cool. The upcoming RFM Pz. Mk.IVJ falls in that category. Outstanding box art too. I rarely build armor but that doesn't stop me from buying more. I wonder how much box art influences us. In my case quite a bit.
  9. Thanks Ernie! LOL It IS big alright and I really don't know WHERE I'll put it when finished. Seems I have a strong affinity for Corsairs, especially the birdcage. I just bought another one to go with the others in my stash.
  10. Thank you Carl. It's coming along okay (fingers crossed).
  11. This is where I am on the build today. Coming right along.
  12. I'd consider jumping in if I wasn't in the middle of my Mosquito build. Still got a long way to go.
  13. One of these days Phil.
  14. When I saw this book advertised I knew I had to have it even though I don't build many tanks/armor models. They are still a very interesting subject. This book is really good and VERY interesting. Nearly 400 pages of photos and info.
  15. Outstanding builds Carl! And folks say I build fast! LOL
  16. Thanks! A Kiwi F4U isn't out of the question. Somewhere down the road though.
  17. Ferocious Frankie is Revell, the one with no unit markings is Revell wings and Tamiya fuselage. Thanks for the kind comments Phil.
  18. Some really nice work!
  19. Thank you Phil. I tried to make it "used but not abused" LOL.
  20. Thank you Harv!!
  21. Thanks. I agree, it seems to look a bit more detailed.
